The product may work, I’m not sure. Since I applied the powder to my carpet almost 24 hours ago, the smell it left behind has been too strong for the room to be used. I followed the directions and applied a thin, uniform dusting in one of my bedrooms, and then, because the carpet was thick, used a broom to help press it in, ( something the packaging recommends). I left it on the carpet for about 3-4 hours, (the package actually recommends waiting 24 hours for best results).
I left a window open with a fan on, to try and help air out the room, but my children still had to sleep in another room, because the smell of the powder was so overwhelming. I bought it because it was safe for children, but I regret it. I couldn’t imagine a child playing in a room this has been used in, and the smell not burning their nose or throat.
I’ve used various carpet powders in the past but none of them have had such a strong smell. I’m considering vacuuming again, and possibly breaking out the carpet cleaner to try and get rid of the powder altogether. This bedroom was my test room before I used this product in other parts of my house. I won’t be using it anywhere else. 🙁

I was excited to try this product since it’s suppose to be safe around everyone but I had problems breathing. I do have asthma so I am more sensitive than others but still cant get past the irritation of fleas jumping on me after treatment.

I have a large dog and the floors are white tile with throw rugs around. Had a flea problem, dog scratching all the time. Could actually see fleas on white tile floors. Went and bought this product hoping it would work and I must say, it worked well and it worked fast. sprinkled it all over tile floors and rugs, it does have a fairly strong scent. within about 12 hours dog isnt scratching (also simultaneously i used topical treatment on my dog) and couldnt find a live flea anywhere. in the house. Great product, would absolutely recomend !

Killing the flee cycle is difficult most people are not aware of the 4 Stages of a flee. Once we researched what WE were doing wrong, we stopped having flees. We applied on both hardwood and area rugs, left on for 2 days. Then Vacuumed the floors every day to break the cycle. I’m giving this 4 stars because Walmart is caring this at the store. We don’t like having to order online all the time.
