i opened the box today, got it mounted and hooked up and turned on and updated. so far picture is very good and for me it will be a learning curve which i expected. my problem which i will try to post a pic is that on the front left of the screen there is a small bar code label that looks to be difficult to remove and has some residue that i do not know how to get off without damaging the screen. i tried a chat but will apparently need to call someone during business hours. i really can’t believe a sticker like this was placed on the front.

We love the details as we watch sports, feels like you are right there and all the preloaded apps, make it easy to get to all the great places to watch our favorite things. The biggest disappoint is the remote is powered by solar. We unfortunately do not get enough light in our bedroom to keep this up and going on a regular basis. I wish it had a battery compartment to help with that. Other than that…love the color, brightness of the picture and sound. Highly recommend…this item as we love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very disappointed. Heard lots of good things about Samsung TVs and I figured the huge price tag would be worth it. Unfortunately the tv did not meet the expectations. The tv is extremely glitchy. The software/ operating system is slow and not the most user friendly. I’ve had several apps crash, start over, be u responsive. Multiple times per week. Picture quality is good but of no use if it’s difficult to use the tv. And for the price I expected so much more.

We can’t get it synced with xfinity after hours of live phone phone conversations with Samsung and Xfinity. We also think the picture is more sharp on our old tv. Very disappointed.

bought the samsung q80a july 5th delivered july 22,2021.
1. there is a black spot on the upper right screen. tried to wipe it off with a microfiber towel but embedded in the screen
2. the voice is not synching with the person talking.
3. took forever to get a the picture correct. make sure your cable box is set to 1080p and you have the correct hdmi cables. go online and get excellent cables . not necessary to spend alot of $$’s on cables

The picture is amazing, it’s like you’re at a movie theater. I only purchase Samsung for my mobile devices as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We went to get an 80″ Samsung QLED and found this 85″ instead. It has amazing colors, vivid and crisp picture. When we walk into an electronic store with several TV’s running, it is easy to compare pics side by side. I always gravitate to and choose the Samsung. Their pictures are just so clear!
The QLED has many options, we like this one because is it full array. If you don’t know what that is, google the options and do the research. It makes a difference when you see them side by side.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are many features with this TV, every day I plan to teach myself how to use a feature new to me. Yesterday I decided to set up the sleep timer. Today I will go to YouTube to watch and possibly learn from tutorials. Found the menu for this task, however was not able to complete the setup. Not sure why.
Watch general cable TV, however will try streaming services; I like movies.
Will not use TV to shop, read email etc.
Clear, crisp color is available only when it is transmitted from the network. In the store, I noticed this model TV did not have glare. However I have the TV in my living room and there is a certain amount of glare; have tilted the TV to a different angle. I will take that up with Samsung and the vendor who installed this TV.
