I’ve reviewed in the order of 40 strollers for Amazon but my favorite still is the one we bought for our first kid: a City Mini GT. This new version of the GT did not disappoint me: it includes all the great characteristics of the older version, plus a few improvements.
This is a great and versatile stroller. Unlike other jogging strollers, it doesn’t have massive bike-like wheels. But I know from over four years of use that the GT’s wheels are champs: I’ve used them on all sorts of terrain and they’ve haven’t punctured or had any other problem, not even once. The GT2 has the same type of wheels than the earlier version.
Another winning feature is how easy the GT2 is to fold (one-hand pull strap) and how it folds right in half — it packs very well in the car trunk. The size is great: not too small, not so large that you can’t take it on a European trip and then doesn’t fit through doorways or cobblestones, like many other American strollers.
I am attaching several photos comparing the GT2 (black) with my older model (green). They are very similar in design, but the GT2 has a slightly higher profile because the canopy is higher, and just as generous as the older model’s. A small improvement in the canopy is that they’ve switched from velcro to magnet attachments for when you roll up the fabric that covers the canopy windows.
The storage basket now features higher sides — the older model’s were a bit too low.
The handlebar, which is still adjustable (great!), has a slightly better grip in the GT2.
Finally, the best improvement has to do with the leg rest: it’s been pushed up a bit so that it has a gentler/more comfortable angle, and it’s also more padded.

We have a single BOB jog stroller that we use fairly often for our youngest daughter(currently 1 & 1/2yo) and often times keep in our Yukon XL. When we decided to travel to London and then Dublin, my wife was insistent we bring a jog stroller for just getting around, not necessarily for jogging over there. I assumed we would bring the BOB, but it just was too big and unwieldy to check at the airport and to bring in a vehicle there. We started looking online and we saw a few, including this one, that we liked and had good reviews. We decided to give this one a shot and I cannot say how impressed I have been with it. The fact that I even decided to leave a review for a jog stroller is evidence of that… So, the reason that I find this stroller so great has to do with the fact that it feels and acts like any larger, full functioning jog stroller (Like our BOB.) However, it folds very flat and very compact. It folds up extremely easily, and opening it simply is like the smaller compact strollers where you pop the lever on the side and it pops open. It fold WAY more compact than our larger stroller, and, you can very easily pop the side wheels (and front one if you’d like) off to make it even flatter. We bought a large nylon case made by same company to transport it which was a great idea for travel. This stroller was a brilliant idea, especially for Dublin and London, as there were several cobblestone roads we would have never been able to navigate with small umbrella style stroller. Overall, this was a great decision and I am actually tempted to load this into our Yukon now before our full-size jog stroller. I would highly recommend this one.

The city mini GT2 is very easy to fold up and unfold which makes it a very good option for families who do not have lots of storage space. The stroller is very solid and secure, very easy to move around with its three wheels design. It is also quite big and spacious for a stroller. The only down side of this stroller is that the storage compartment is quite small and it can only take some kid’s essentials like diapers and wipes.

Overall, it is a great stroller and definitely worth buying.

Prior to buying this we had two of the regular 2017 model city mini double strollers and we LOVED them. We fly a lot so our strollers have taken a beating and we wanted to upgrade to the new 2020 city mini gt2 double. Huge mistake. I wanted to love them because we love the older model so much but the upgrades are horrible. First they are HEAVY. They’re almost 36lbs and add in 2 kids they’re hard to push. Even worse is that they don’t fold as flat as the old model. They are huge heavy and bulky when folded. We have 4 kids under 4 and it’s impossible for me to deal with how heavy and bulky the gt2 is. The new footrest that folds up is a toddler parents nightmare. My kids will not leave it alone, I wish I could get rid of it. The new sun canopies are junk. I was most excited about the new magnetic peakaboo windows instead of the old Velcro ones and that is definitely a huge plus but the canopies themselves feel flimsy. They also attach to the stroller frame in a new way and they come off constant,y. Our old canopies never came detached from the frame. The suspension on the frame is also horrible. It makes the stroller nearly impossible to lift over a curb and it allows it to bottom out in the back and easily tip over backward. Our old city minis never tipped over backward but the new one does constantly when the seats are fully reclined and no not with stuff hanging on the handle bar and my largest child is only 34lbs so not exceeding the weight limit either. The new fabric stinks too. It’s softer but it stains easily and doesn’t repel water. Our old city minis were a slicker fabric that wiped off easily and dried quickly. We got caught in a very short rain st Disney one day and these seats stayed absolutely soaked for 24 hours. Overall I would never purchase this stroller again. We’ve had them for 2 weeks and one of those weeks was a nightmare at Disney world with bad strollers. I originally posted this review to Baby Joggers website and received an email that their moderators had decided not to publish it. What a joke, so they only publish positive reviews not honest ones

I needed something smaller than my BOB Jogger but larger than an umbrella so I could get over most terrain. This is a very nice stroller. Great umbrella and brake. The seat material is also very nice. The cons are that the basket holds a bunch but isn’t the easiest to access for diaper bags or bulky items. Also, the most upright position is still a bit relaxed and I had to buy the snack tray so my child could safely sit forward and hold onto something still buckled. We will be keeping this stroller, I just wish for the price they could fix at least one of the two issues.
