[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kettle is just so convenient. Nicely marked, crystal clear glass. Set it on the base with your water and loose leaf tea in it, flip the switch and it does the rest! Brings the tea to perfect temp then disengages the switch. The kettle is tricky to clean as you can’t really reach inside it, but that hasn’t been an issue. I simply run a fill of clean water through it occasionally and it’s as good as new. You can descale it with vinegar and water if needed.
The lights around the base are really nice and you can watch the tea heat, bubble and boil. Pretty cool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I really like this kettle and it is very easy to use. The water boils relatively quickly and then the blue led light shuts off when it’s done. There is no sound really when it does but I think I’ve heard a little pop when it’s done. With water filled to the max it’s not heavy to lift and I noticed it stayed pretty warm for a few hours after it shut off.

First purchased in-store without any expectations for use at college by my kids. It has auto shutoff after the water boils and theres no fumbling to get the lid open: theres a button on the handle, above the on/off button. You need to open it a little more with your hand to fill the kettle, but it is open and attached. Enjoyed its convenience when they brought it home. We have not used the included tea infuser, preferring tea leaves in a separate teapot/mug so we can use the water for other purposes. Searched for and bought this second one, online. There is a newer model with temperature choices on the handle. I did not need/want that feature.

OMG!!! This is so much better than the plastic one. The lights are amazing they go out when the water cools. It heats super fast and holds more water than the plastic one. It looks amazing on my counter. And it has a tea infuser that just slips in the carafe. Absolutely would buy this as a gift for my avid tea drinkers.

Handle is thick and awkward to hold but not too bad. Water takes about 10 minutes to boil on maximum level setting. Great for tea or foods like Ramen noodles but may get a little too hot for french press or “pour over” coffee makers like me. Adding a timer and a coffee temp setting around 200-208 to it would make it perfect. Love the blue light when it’s on.

At first glance, I like this pot when I received it. Now it still looks good, but doesn’t work at all!!! There may be something wrong with the connection inside. You can’t tell from its look. I never thought the pot would have such poor quality. My old one works for 2years, and still working but with too much water precipitates.

We ordered this kettle because it has the most amazing blue light that comes on until the water boils. We just thought it was so cool. It turns out to be noisier than our old Bodum but that’s a minor thing. We also like that it has an internal cylinder for making a pot of tea, which is nice if you want to make a whole pot.

Purchased May 2021. Glass container for water was appealing, but lid broke off today. The plastic hinge shows deformation from heat damage. The LED lights encircling the base tell when unit is heating, did not do much for me but might be a wow factor for others. Now its early October 2021. Unit began to take longer to heat water than stove top 3-4 weeks ago. Lid would not seal and gap when closed was widening and probably prolonged steam heat to hinge. The pictures don’t show well the heat-smoothing of break, but it’s there. Previously owned stainless steel Hamilton Beach with window that began to leak due to overfill – can’t do that – but worked solidly for 5 years. Secour followed H-B and was good, plastic outside, SS inside, still going after 3 years. Will go back to stainless.

I love..LOVE this kettle. (BUT) The first one I bought lasted two weeks before the catch that keeps the lid closed failed (its just a small plastic piece) and the saftey auto off feature stopped working and allowed the kettle to boil dry. I hoped it was a one time faulty unit and purchased a second…the same thing happened within the same time frame in addition to the conection point between the base and kettle being weak.

Worked great at first. I loved the LED lights. I even recommended it to others. The problem was, after six months, the kettle started leaking from the LED lights to the bottom. The LED lights started flickering in and out. The LED lights still work, but the kettle is just a fire hazard now with the leaking so we had to get rid of it. It’s really unfortunate because it worked really well and quickly. Maybe it wasn’t meant to be used daily.
