Syncs quickly with my Garmin Edge 130 Plus. Very easy to set up as well. Wish the band had a little more elasticity to it, but it stays in place on my upper forearm well enough. Also wish it didn’t have a bespoke charger.

I’ve used this for a couple trail runs and treadmill runs. I hated my chest strap HRM. The Velcro on the band is comfy and easy to adjust. The HR is accurate and was very easy to pair with my Garmin watch. I haven’t had to charge it yet, but the charger fits easily onto the device. I’m still getting used to the armband, but haven’t had any issues with it working well with a long sleeved shirt.

I bought this sensor in August and it worked well…easy to use, good connectivity to iPhone and my GPS watch, and comfortable on the forearm. Throughout August and September, it gave fairly accurate readings and tracking of HR because I was wearing short sleeve shirts and tanks to run/exercise, with the HR monitor exposed. Here’s the problem—once the weather had gotten a bit colder, I started to wear long sleeve shirts/layers, which totally affected this device’s accuracy. I would get huge spikes in HR readings (e.g.: readings would go from about 135bpm to 162 bpm, and back down to 135bpm in a matter of about 10 seconds). My recorded runs would have these erratic spikes throughout. I called Wahoo customer support and told them the problem. I was told that this is fairly common with this (and other optical sensors) when the sensor is not exposed, or if sensor is moved around a bit by clothing over it. I wasn’t happy, but I had owned the monitor for 2 months at this point, so a return or was not an option. Wahoo customers service told me that if I want the most accurate readings, a chest strap would be the best option, and said that they would email me a coupon toward a chest strap since I am stuck with this arm strap. They said I would get it within a few minutes but it’s been a couple of weeks and I’ve gotten nothing. Comfort is a great thing, but I feel like most people who use HR activity tracking are looking for accuracy first and foremost. I am writing this review to disclose the shortcomings of this devise as well as my experience with Wahoo customer service. I hope this helps. I wish I had known these issues before it was too late to return/exchange.

Love having a way to sync this to our new Hydrow rower. In the moment stats on heart rate in order to control level of activity.

I use this almost every day and it’s phenomenal. Strap is easy to tighten and have never had a problem with functionality… even on my sweatiest days. Highly recommend!

This activity tracker worked perfectly with my recently bought Echelon bike. I’ve also used it for some runs and the information synchs well.
