I just received the tripod a few days ago so I have not had a chance to test it at a job. Regardless it seems sturdy and easy to use. I had no issues with set up.the fluid head is amazing for the price.

This is my first “professional” tripod, and I’m pretty darn happy with it. Historically, I’ve cheaped out on tripods as my tripod shots typically aren’t panning or tilting. For locked off shots, my old ones have been fine. But this tripod and head combination really open up new possibilities for me. Having actual counter balance makes SUCH a big difference when it comes to smooth pans and tilts for tracking shots. I’ve only got the weight of a Canon C70 on it (though it is on a VST shoulder rig on there) and it all balances perfectly. I really really like this setup. Worth the money!

This is a great studio tripod. It help up BMPCC 4K with EF 70-200.
It also supported a C100 MK II with EF 70-200.
The screws came loose from loading and unloading. Use a torque screwdriver head to tighten. Other than that BUY IT!

I have only used it on a few shoots so far. Bought a Komodo to replace my DSLR shooting but the old tripod could not handle the weight. Didn’t want to spend $1K+ This has the bells and whistles that expensive tripos have. Counter balance so my camera doesn’t fall forward of backward, fluid head with adjustable drag for both pan and tilt. Plus the 1/4-20 threads to attach external monitors and such. These features cost a couple hundred more than the other versions of the tripod, but it is well worth it since I hope it will last 15 years like my last tripod.

I love the height and weight of this tripod. I used this to film a ceremony from the back of a crowded room. It has a very smooth head, and it incredibly sturdy. The rubber feet are an added bonus…The room i was filming in had some pretty slippery floors.

The packaging was so pristine, everything came so nice and neat.

[I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

Love the bang for your buck. Everything you need in a professional tripod, minus the name-brand tax

The legs sound a bit clunky and the plastic on the latches is not nice to the touch, but the head works heavenly. The one negative thing is that the bubble on the level doesn’t always seem to work, like someone else pointed out, which doesn’t give me much hope for the quality of everything else, but I still love the fluid head. And the bag is also very nice, compact and easy to carry. I wish Magnus had not cut corners with the latches and the bubble.

I am very happy with the features of this tripod. Although I have only used it twice as I just got it and I don’t have other video tripod use experience, this is what I was wanting. I use a 600mm prime lens and camera body that weighs about 13-14lbs and it works just fine.
