Chauffe bien, pas évident d apprendre à manipuler, j arrivais à faire boucles avec fer plat pourtant. Par ailleurs, au début, bouton on off accroché facilement et met le fer à off sans me rendre compte. Sinon, bon fer.

The curling iron has blades that extend over the bottom of one side, so that you can curl hair on the ends. The other side is just plain, as a flat iron would be. I like to wear my hair straight with a bend at the end. For this the trick is to make sure the blade side is facing you as you look in the mirror. As you go through that hair section, curve it so the ends hit the blade side. I have a hard time flatting my own hair in back. The ends just look straight like a board (but not attractively I don’t think). I am learning to use it to curve the very back. As my hairdressser says, it is hard to operate on your own head in the back!
It has 3 temps: 340-400-4xx (never used highest one). I wanted to keep my highighted and smoothed hair from breaking and my old flat iron had no temps. I think the 340 is cooler than my old one. I have another iron that curls on one side and straightens on the other; it is better for full curls than straight and it is harder to operate. This one is great for straightening which I do mostly and with end curl/bend.

I purchased this iron because I my aunt is a professional stylist and was always telling me that Babyliss pro is the best out there. She says it would leave my hair beautiful and frizz free. I bought it from amazon because it was selling it cheaper but I was incredibly disappointed. I used it a few times and my hair was frizzy half an hour later. My other iron works better than this one and I’ve been using for three years. This styler would not get hot enough.
When I showed it to my aunt, she told me there was clearly something wrong with it because I was not working properly. So I called Babyliss and gave them the model/serial number on the cord tag and I was told it was a counterfeit product!! So disappointed
Fortunately for me, I spoke to an Amazon representative and she was able to open an investigation and I was given a full refund for this item.
I highly recommend you check who the seller is if is someone other than Amazon.

I’ve used a Sedu Professional 1 1/2″ flat iron for years to straighten my very long hair, but for some reason, it didn’t stay on; so I decided to replace it with the BabyblissPro Nano Titanium U Styler. Being that I’m used to the Sedu flat iron leaving my hair looking very shiny and soft, I was very disappointed with the BabyblissPro Nano Titanium U Styler because even though it does straighten or curls my hair just fine, my hair looks very dry and not so soft. This U Styler is of good quality and it is easy to use, but it doesn’t make my hair look as pretty and healthy as my previous flat iron.

A hair dresser used this flat iron on my daughter’s natural kinky coarse hair and I was hooked!!! INSTANT CURLS!!! Heats in seconds, easy to use and makes the best spiral curls ever!!! Make sure to use a heat protector & oil in your hair. Does not break off your hair but be careful of the high temperature settings, it will burn your hair OFF. THIS IS A MUST BUY!!! I will never buy another flat iron again!!!

I’ve had this for about a year. I use it about 2-3x per week. A few months in of using i noticed the blue finish coming off onto my counter even when I use a heat pad. It never touches the side counter but somehow its coming off onto it. Also, there are other areas on it that are coming off and the name is fading. Im concerned we got shipped a knock off/fake considering how much money was spent on this. The heat is ok. The main part i like are the slightly curved plates. Im not so certain it was worth the money. This was my first babyliss purchase and thought they were supposed to be an elite brand but now im doubting it and feel a bit mislead on the quality.

Really excellent product! I can straighten, curl, flip, it’s awesome. Heats up fast and there are protective edges to prevent burns.

We bought this item directly from Amazon. We received it and it looked and worked great. My wife noticed that it often shut itself off while she was using it. We missed Amazon’s return deadline, so we returned it back to the manufacturer. A couple of weeks later, we received a letter from the manufacturer stating that the product was counterfeit.
Amazon, to their credit has offered to give us a full refund. Babyliss recommends using only authorized dealers, of which at the time of writing this review, Amazon is not.

Another winner by BaByliss! I have the 1 1/2″ regular round curling iron and love it, but I was looking for something a little more like a flat iron and this “C” plate flat iron is perfect! It gives just enough bend without being a curl in my hair. Provides great height at my crown. By the way, the BaByliss Italian motor hair dryers are amazing! They dry my hair in 1/3 the time of a regular ionic hair dryer.

It is genuine–I compared it to Ulta products and checked with my hairdresser. The reason for the low price is that it is discontinued.
Things to look for in a real product:
1. no rattles
2. cord is not round, it is stamped with a number of letters and numbers and the name “Luen Ming”
3. It heats up fast but not in under 1 min
4. It is not all metal but doesn’t look “home-made”
5. side plates don’t get as hot as main plates
The reason for my review is that I am tired of hearing Amazon sells fake products. I bought here nothing but genuine: Frye’s, Jack Roger’s, Speck’s… you name it. But because the price is so competitive customers doubt in they are genuine.
GOOD JOB keeping products low priced Amazon!
