I looked online for floating shelves and read a lot of reviews and compared prices. This seemed like the best combo of value and good reviews and I have not been disappointed. I was careful mounting them, one side of the mounting rack got into a stud, the other I had to use an anchor. It seems very sturdy, though as yet I haven’t got much heavy stuff on the top one. but the bottom has a plant and now a large mug and fine for that. I recommend these, as long as you carefully mount using the appropriate hardware (it includes different options).

I love the look of these shelves, I really do. They look quality, they feel quality- they’re modern and rustic at the same time. Perfect (looking) shelves for our home.
Oh my god, when I say you need to screw it in a stud, you need to screw it in a stud. One of the shelves was centered below our wall-mounted TV in our bedroom… just due to the positioning, and the weird bolt pattern of our wall-mount, the support for the floating shelf didn’t line up with a single stud. So I even used all 7(?) of the drywall anchors, stealing one from the other shelf to support the shelf. As soon as you place the shelf on the support, it tilts 10-15 degrees towards the floor. I found a stud with my stud finder, drilled two holes with a drill, counter sunk the holes so the screw would sit deep enough without impacting the shelf and it was still crappy. Why? Because what holds the shelf ~level~ are two Philips screws. The screws screw in from the bottom of the shelf into two metal tubes welded to the shelf support. The walls of the support are only thick enough to get 1 turn of a thread, so you’re basically relying on two threads to hold whatever you put on the shelf. We put a Nintendo switch on it and the shelf instantly slopes down. I did a couple of more twists of the screws and could tell that the threads weren’t holding anything anymore. I went to Home Depot and bought two hard wood dowels which I put inside the support tubes, predrilled them so they wouldn’t split and tighten the screws into the support tubes+dowels again. Much more support.
Tl;dr… great looking, not sturdy. Need to definitely screw into a stud, and maybe reinforce the support tubes if you’re putting anything over 5 pounds on the shelf.

THIS IS NOT WOOD! It comes up in search for wood shelves but it is a plastic or resin product made to look sort of wood. It is nice but not at all what I expected. I could not use this with my industrial pipe hardware to make a shelf for dishes, it will not work. this is a floating shelf which will require studs in wall to anchor to and measurements will need to be exact

Bought these shelves for my home bar wall (see pics). Pretty easy installation, it is just a black frame which slides into the shelf. Pretty good quality piece. Only lost 1 star because the drywall anchors (yellow) it comes with are somewhat flimsy and do not hold as well, but it also does come with white ones that are not bad but they make a fairly decent sized hole. Either way, happy with a good looking product, and it holds the glassware I have put on it. Also, forgot to mention i do like the little screws in the bottom that prevent the shelf from sliding off the frame.

I have three, and all three have held up for months. I have books and everything stacked on top. They are really good quality.

These things are still going strong. No sag, no bending. It’s as though I just hung them yesterday!!

I installed 4 shelves into drywall with heavy duty wall anchors. They looked great until I put anything on them, and then they began to tilt away from the wall. Maybe 8 lbs max – a couple of books & knick-knacks. One shelf tilted so much that everything on it crashed to the floor in just a few hours. Shelves and wall are still intact; the shelves just don’t stay level.

It’s not real wood. It’s laminate or some other material. It looks like a cheap shelf you would find at a dated 1970’s, rent by the hour motel in Deming, New Mexico. Returning.

I needed a single shelf for a very specific area, it’s hard to find just ONE shelf on here, so I picked this. It looks ok, but the shelf itself is pretty cheap. It’s like the hard stuff they give you for the back of dressers (not the folding type, the one level up from that?) and it’s painted/textured on one side. So, it keeps the shelf very light, but you’re putting up this crazy hard core mounting bracket for a shelf that feels like if you pulled on it too hard it might crack in half.
My other issue is mounting, which is partially unrelated to this shelf and just about all floating shelves. I get it, but it’s worth mentioning if you’ve never mounted one of these – it’s a PITA because you either need to make a lot of pretty large holes and use the anchors (all provided!) (this shelf would require 6 (I think) holes and anchors if mounted that way). The plus of this shelf is the side mounting holes are 16″ apart so if you happen to be able to hang it where you have studs, you SHOULD be able to do that. The screws are serious business and I’m not putting much on this shelf so I was able to hang it in two studs with the screws. But now you need to have a drill on hand, so keep that in mind.
I guess I’m just saying to know what you’re getting in to, and make sure you have a level, drill, something to get those screws in the studs, etc. It’s up, it’s fine, but the quality of the shelf itself is sort of crap.

I just finished installing these floating shelves. Instillation was not difficult and the hardware that was supplied was almost all I needed. I did use some vary small shims under the mounting bracket to keep the shelves perfectly horizontal. I also put a very small bead of caulk on both the upper and lower wall sides of the shelves to give a nice finished look, it also helped with stability. I did not have any problem with the drywall anchors and I have used these type before. I only used 2 on each bracket and my shelves feel good and sturdy. As far as the shelves themselves they have a nice finish and are well made. The only thing I noticed that could be an issue on instillation is that the mounting bracket hole in the center of the bracket is not true center and may cause someone to install these shelves a little off center if they use that center hole for a reference point. Overall I am happy with my purchase and I just ordered another set. I recommend this item.

This product is absolutely horrible, it does not work and it should be discontinued..
Grossly overpriced for one thing and it DOES NOT WORK. The screws provided will not tighten in the anchors, the second anchors provided is the exact same thing, I had to re-patch and paint my wall twice, buy additional anchors and screws and even added washers to the bottom part to hold the shelf up and still it sags and pulls out the anchors from the wall. And I didn’t exceed the weight limit, not even close to it. After reading through everyone else’s reviews I am not alone. This is a complete garbage product.

The instructions regarding drill bit size, the screws they send and the yellow anchors do not match up, so the screws don’t tighten…they spin! This causes a gap between the wall and the shelf to tilt forward. Very frustrating. I wish they hadn’t included any hardware. I did not try the white anchors. I ended up using my own store bought hardware for the second shelf and that worked perfectly.
