I set up my sound bar with a Samsung TU 8000 4K TV.
The sound bar and satellite speaker design is pleasing to the eye and looks modern especially when mounted to a TV with a sound bar mount. What I immediately noticed was how small the subwoofer was! I was hoping this was a case of “size doesn’t matter” but you know the drill, it always does.
    Initial Impressions
The highs are crisp but I wouldn’t call them bright…some tones sound buzzy (think E guitar string buzz). Vocals are pretty clear. Mids are reproduced accurately but seem to sound a little hollow. Base levels throughout the system are pretty low and even with the subwoofer turned all the way up you cannot reproduce that thumping, driving bass of hip-hop or house tracks. Guitar tones sound really good though (the band Khruangbin sounds great).
If you are an audiophile and will be using this system primarily to play music, you might be disappointed. As you turn the bass levels up, the sound gets a little boomy. Not to the point that all other sounds are distorted, but it is noticeable. My old Yamaha YAS-207 didn’t have satellite surround speakers, but did a much better job reproducing music than this system.
What I DO love is the surround quality, especially when watching Dolby Atmos movies. It’s truly impressive and when the opening credits roll, you feel like you’re in a movie theater ! If you plan to use the sound bar primarily for TV or Netflix binging, then this may work for you.

This sound bar is awesome! I original bought a Samsung 7.1 dts but the rear speakers weren’t very loud so I went to the store and swapped it out for this 5.1 atmos soundbar($20 more). This is a Great sound bar for the Xbox Series X!!! The price isn’t bad for what you get. I have had no problems switching between inputs. I have my Xbox series x connected to the soundbar to take advantage of the atmos and have the soundbar connect to my arc port. However volume is kinda low when I’m watching regular cable but that’s not the sound bars fault. The tv channels (comcast) doesn’t output Dolby. Definitely recommend for the $299 price and the $329 price.

Great sound but a little lag. For the price an excellent system. Adds depth to movies and games that is well worth the price.

I have a Vizio 2.1 soundbar in the living room and bought this to go in my bedroom. It’s not audiophile. I own audeze and sennheiser headphones. But, on the music preset, it’s like listening to my favorite songs for the first time. I’m impressed. Switch to the movie preset and movies come alive. I wall mounted everything with the included wall mounts, using drywall anchors I already had. The surround speakers i mounted directly to my left and right, not behind me. Setup was automatic. Just plug everything in.

Good lower end, 5.1 channel theater sound setup. Next step up. $1,000. Very decent sound. Includes Atmos and DTS, noted with different color lights on bar panel as each movie starts. Clear voices. Multiple frequency and channel adjustments. Connected to ARC. Quick, easy switch from internal OLED TV speakers. Rear satellite speakers are wired but to the bass unit (wireless) that is typically placed around seating area. So, no need to run wires across/under floor or over ceiling.

Before I make purchases I always do a lot of research. For TVs & Soundbars I have always ended up with Vizios…but yet I still seem to end up with Vizio products. As hard as I try, I can never seem to find a soundbar or TV that offers the qualty & features of Vizio within the same price area. I have 4 rooms each with a Vizio TV & soundbar. My first Vizio soundbar was $99 2.0 (no sub-woofer or rear speakers)…almost 15 years ago and still works!
    WHY THIS VIZIO?
REMOTE CONTROL: This has a little digital screen! (makes knowing what your adjusing MUCH easier than depending solely on the abstract lights on the soundbar alone.
REAR SURROUND SPEAKERS: Instead of being wireless or having long wires to run all the way back to the soundbar, these speakers connect by wires directly to the wireless sub-woofer cube straight down from the ceiling…MUCH easier to install & hide wires, as well as preventing the possible charging & connectivity issues. The sub-woofer provides the power for the rear speakers.
SOUND QUALITY: Amazing! DOLBY ATMOS! You can NOT get better surround sound in ANY unit for this price! ($329) Good amount of control over sound, even the preset sound modes work well!
The only bad thing is that there is a “pop” when you turn unit on & off as others have mentioned…but there is a firmware update that will easily take care of this as Vizio has stated.
Vizio still remains the best overall TVs & Soundbars for your money. You can get the same level of sound and quality with another brand but beginning cost will start at around $500…and to get better you will go up in peice greatly!

So I bought this sound system for my small room. It sounds very nice and gives decent bass.
I’m very picky with sound and i can definitely say for the price it’s not bad.
Obviously it’s not super top of the line but it works.
I wouldn’t use it in a living room or a big big room.
And The bass is a little lower than I wanted it to be in certain places. And I noticed some frequencies will make a rumbling noise but for Netflix, or gaming, and YouTube in a small room it does the job! Definitely recommend for small bedrooms!
