This light was so easy to setup and it works well with my alexa app. I highly recommend this product.

Bought this with the Sengled – Smart WiFi LED Multicolor TV Light strip (4M).
Pros: the colors are bright and it looks amazing. The Sengled app lets you create scenes, light schedules, and wake up/sleep routines. Easy to set up. Color brightness can be adjusted.
Cons: the app is not intuitive. The scenes you create don’t always keep the colors you choose. Switching between scenes almost always never show the right colors so you have to keep tapping the scene to get the correct color or you have to turn off the lights then tap the scene. Just doesn’t always work. The light schedule intermittently stops working as well. Figuring out how to delete a scene was a pain and I work with tech for my job. The brightness on scenes intermittently don’t adjust right. You increase the brightness with the slider and the lights get dimmer. These do not work with Apple Home so you have to use their App. It’s really the app that sucks. The lights are amazing.

Love these bulbs, for the most part I have no issue getting them paired up and added to the Alexa ecosystem. Occasionally though one wants to be a royal pain and it takes repeated tries to properly pair and get connected. After that, the lights have performed as I would want. No after pairing issues. We have been using Sengled throughout the house because we’ve been getting them at a good price and for the most part have gotten a handle on their setup. Also helps from having to install a bunch of different brand apps to set their bulbs. Amazon/Best Buy also like to includes these as bonus items for smart home purchases, so again, sticking with one brand makes everything easier.
Bonus tip – If you have ceiling fans, you can purchase adapters that will all these to be used. Just need to make sure the sconce/socket will allow the bulb to stick out an extra inch/inch and a half. Easy way to turn a ceiling fan into a “smart” light.
Nick –
Hub is kind of a hassel due to connecting to your internet router. Plus you need to add it on the Sengled app before you can add it to alexa app. Theres also a 1 second delay before it comes on. That being said. its a good addition to my foyer to be able to tell Alexa to turn off the light at night.

The setup in the Sengled app was easy. Also, it can be added to Samsung Smart Things for more routines and syncing with other devices. There are routines to turn on the lights if motion is sensed or to turn on in the morning at 1% brightness and work up to 100% over a period of time as examples.
BWFL –
I use this as a backlight behind my main TV. It comes on at around sunset, which I can change according to the time of year. I have it automatically go off at 2am, or I can tell Alexa to shut it off earlier if I want. One problem is that if there’s a power failure, it automatically comes back on when the power is restored.

I received three Sengled Bluetooth Bulbs as free gifts with the purchase of several other Best Buy products.
I wanted to throw them out the window after continued disconnected lights.
I read reviews of that product and dozens of others had the same issue.
I then read about the Sengled WIFI Bulb which has great reviews.
I liked the idea of Smart Bulbs and figured I will try one more time.
This time using the WIFI Sengled Bulbs I am 100% satisfied and would highly recommend to anyone wanting smart lighting.
It is so nice turning those lights off/on in bed, when I leave and forget, or for security.
The Bluetooth bulbs went in the trash.
