So after having this blanket for 1 and half months, I figured it was time to leave a review. With that being said, I love the size, before this blanket, my husband and I had separate blankets which I hated now we just have just one! I also love the color and style. My only problem is that it sheds like crazy. I’ve washed it at least 5 times already and it still continues. I’ve damaged a few pair of leggings because of the fuzz sticking to them and it’s impossible to take off. Not sure if anyone else had this issue or If i just got a bad one.

I love this blanket. Exactly what I was looking for. My wife and I both purchased one. Not sure why people care so much about lint in the dryer… haha. It’s so comfy and perfect temp for sleeping. It’s like the blanket I always wanted – I got two king size blankets.. once you wash them they do look a little more “used” but what is wrong with that? It makes it a more comfy blanket!!! My wife loves hers too!! They are great blankets.

1. It looks fantastic on my bed (in my opinion anyway).
2. It stays cool throughout the night! No more waking overheating. I’ve been sleeping so much better with this thing. I wouldn’t say it’s not warm, it does it’s just as a blanket, but… it just doesn’t get TOO hot like my 5 other blankets do. I just use this on top with a sheet as a layer between me and the blanket and it’s perfect.
Very happy with this purchase. Originally purchased it just for the looks but the staying cool(er) part was an added benefit. Love it.
Hope this is helpful to someone else out there suffering from night sweats/overheating like I was/did.

Light weight compared to regular, thicker blankets, but it was a bit heavier weight than expected. I was expecting a bit thinner weave, for a light summer blanket. That being said, it’s a good quality blanket with a nice texture and pattern in the weave. Very white which is nice and fresh looking. Would recommend as a good all purpose lighter weight blanket. It does shed a lot when washed for the first time, but being a 100% cotton blanket this was expected and not a big deal – just empty the dryer lint catcher half way though drying.

Because I have allergies I use cotton blankets. Love this as it has a close weave. Cool in summer, warm in winter. Please wash before using as it sheds. Color is very pretty.

It seems like it is nicely made but when I washed and dried it according to its instructions it seemed to pill already after no uses and when I attempted to use it on our King bed when I purchased the right size it literally seems to only fit just a bit over the footprint of the bed. After a week of use, we do like it. It is heavy and warm, but also doesn’t overheat you. I wish it was slightly larger, but we are happy with the purchase.

I noticed from first use a great deal of fibre shedding. When I washed the blanket hoping to stop shedding handfuls of fibre collected in my dryer, however there was still excessive shedding of fibres. The back of my quilted spread is still covered with pills of pale blue fibres. I send the blanket to a homeless shelter and purchased a new blanket from Costco. Not happy at all.

Cotton blankets are a godsend to a hot sleeper such as myself. I purchased this one for my guest bed rather than my own. I don’t particularly care for the basket weave style, but it seemed like the closest-knit one and therefore more resistant to snagging.
I laundered it prior to use according to instructions and, as anyone is familiar with cotton could expect, there was a LOT of fuzz in the washer and lint trap. You may need to be careful what you wash in the following load or even do a clean cycle.
Additionally, also as expected, I did experience a bit of shrinkage. After washing it measured 81”x86”. So if the dimensions are important to you, you may want to go up a size.
Overall, for the quality is fair for this price point. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money but I didn’t want something that would fall apart or easily snag.
This works best as a layering blanket rather than a top blanket due to the shrinkage but also quite a bit of pilling. You also won’t need to launder it as much that way.
However, if you intend to use it as a top blanket, you may want to opt for something else a little more expensive and higher quality… and bigger.

The blanket is nice, and light weight. It is a dark teal colour. It did shrink a bit in the wash, even though it was washed in cold water and dried on extra low, but it still fits my king size bed with room to tuck in at the bottom.

Extremely disappointed! Washed it before using it and it looks like crap! Blanket lost an incredible amount of lint in washer and I had to change dryer filter 4 times due to the amount of lint. Blanket looks old and worn only after 1 wash! Returning!!!!!! PLEASE DO NOT BUY…YOU WILL BE SORRY.

I was very pleased with this purchase! The blanket is cotton, so it’s lightweight, warm and cozy. The teal color I ordered was gorgeous. I have a queen bed, I ordered a king size blanket, the fit is perfect. It washed like a dream (wash separate the first time, there will be some lint). I would absolutely recommend it!

Nice blanket for the price. When washed it fuzzed a lot. Washed a second time with vinegar and now it’s a great blanket.

Great weight and softness. We’re using it on a queen size bed and it fit pretty well at first. If it was king size it would be a bit way too small. Third washing and it’s gotten excessively small. Is there a size bigger than King Size? Our queen size mattress is covered any longer. It would now fit a double bed fine – pretty lousy for a supposedly “king size blanket. Not at all satisfied although the blanket itself is very nice. In a year it may be the size of a pillow case
