This foam map of the 50 states is awesome! Great quality, and the 50 flags it comes with is amazing, and unique for learning about each state. Yes, you’ll have to apply the stickers to the front and back of each flag, which takes time, but I do feel like it’s all worthwhile considering the benefits of such a wonderful learning tool. I haven’t seen a USA map like this yet. My 6 year old son enjoys using it, along with some other materials we use to learn about the 50 states of our country. Great puzzle for kinesthetic learners, too, and this map is pretty big! Read the dimensions in the description box for more information. This map is really nice!

The media could not be loaded.

It gets easy to memorise the geographical locations & capitals as compared to reading from books.
Children takes interest in learning from such types of activities & puzzles.
It is very helpful in increasing the general knowledge of children..

I bought this for my geography loving son. The puzzle itself has been a hit; the whole family has had fun with it. When it arrived, however, I realized that there are roughly a million flag stickers to be put onto tiny plastic flags…not the end of the world (ha,ha), until I then realized that the stickers were not made of quality paper and were not cut all of way through. 2.5 hours & my first pair of reading glasses later, the flag stickers had been cut out with fingernail sicsors and assembled. Had my son not already seen the puzzle, it would have been sent straight back. Now that it’s assembled, it’s being thoroughly enjoyed. Assembly, however, was ridiculous. *To those sensitive to smells, there was a strong chemical smell when the box was first opened. I expected it bc it’s made of foam and by the time the @&$! stickers were applied, the smell was no longer there.

i homeschool and purchased this for my 5 year old son. not only does he love it but so does my 10 and 13 year old children. the have fun putting it together and have already started memorizing some of the capitols.Note From Lesson Learned: do not throwing out the extra little flags! they did happen to lose one flag and i wish i had the extras so i could make a replacement.

Bought this for my son going into 5th grade. I’ve learned that by the end of the year, they have to know all 50 states and their capitals. Got a head start by “playing and learning” diring the summer break. Both my kids are loving it. Took me a while to atick on all the stickers, but it’s a worthwhile effort. Worth the investment 👍🏻👍🏻

We love this! This is such a sturdy map puzzle and a great idea for a fun learning toy. However, I just wish the creators hadn’t stopped short with some regions. I know they were tight on space, but what they did was inconsistent. Asia is full of little pieces made up of multiple tiny, two letter countries, but Central America is reduced to only Nicaragua. So many of the tiny two letter countries in Asia get flags, but Africa only got eight. There are a number of other countries with puzzle pieces in Africa that are big enough to have their full name. They don’t have a flag/capital. I’m *glad* so many small countries in Asia are represented! But I want more! I want more in Africa and more in Central and South America. Would it really be that hard to print a few more stickers and include a few more plastic flags?

I bought it as a gift for my 6-year-old. He’s very fond of puzzles and he already had the India puzzle. This one was on his wishlist for a long time and he earned it now. So here, he was over-excited to have it.

About the puzzle – It’s a really good puzzle to involve your child and make him/her understand and see the whole world, how the countries and continents are placed. Apart from the world puzzle, I was surprised to see a full separate puzzle of Europe in it. So basically this has 2 puzzles.
Apart from the puzzles, it also has small, white plastic flags for all those countries, they seem nice and durable (although I avoid plastic as much as possible, that’s the only plastic component in this puzzle). The stickers to be fixed on the flags are given separately, so that’s an added one-time activity for the kid.

Next, the material of the game is the same sturdy foam, including the frame.
All in all, a good buy to keep your kid involved for a long time and encourage geographical learning alongside.
I’m completely satisfied with the buy, so is my kid.

Time to make him go to sleep, but he doesn’t want to leave it, Phew!!

This puzzle is a huge hit in our home. The concept is awesome: the foam with the flags is brilliant (no smell in our box, like other reviewers mentioned and the stickers were perfect, no trouble at all placing them on flags) but we have some issues with the details on the maps.

My son is studying the countries of the world, and he has noticed that several countries are missing from the puzzle, several countries are missing flags, and he’s wondered why only Europe has a separate detail puzzle, but Central America and Africa don’t. Very Euro-centric. The absence of Israel makes me wonder.

Central America: They are missing 21 countries from Central America, the Caribbean, and from the northern edge of South America. These are represented by a star pattern, or not at all for some of the islands. Trinidad and Tobago is absolutely it’s own country, to name one. It isn’t even on the map.

Africa: The same can be said for Africa. Missing countries, no flags.

The Middle East is also missing random countries. Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Georgia, Armenia, to name few. They could have been drawn in, instead Iraq and Syria take up the space of Israel, Lebanon, and Jordan. They don’t need extra pieces, just draw them on the map!

They don’t have flags for so many countries: Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Guyana, Suriname, Uganda, Ethiopia, Conga, Lithuania, Latvia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Yemen, Oman, and so many more (over half of the Africa’s countries).

Like I said above, this puzzle is a huge hit. I’d recommend anyone buy it… unless you’re specifically studying Central America, western Africa, or the Middle East (or theSouth Pacific Islands, for that matter)

This is brilliant, my 5 year old is really in to geography, so this was a great choice… although if your child really focuses on detail, they will notice a tiny flaw in this otherwise fabulous puzzle game… and that is… the South Korean flag has actually been printed upside down. Not something I would have noticed, but my son picked up on it straight away, I actually had to Google the map to see if he was right. And it turns out he is.

I ordered the Mapology India with Capitals from Imagimake.
I found it very colorful and well detailed with 27, (as the state of Goa is not given a separate puzzle piece) states and 7 UT’s with their capital cities in stickers, which you stick on the cute little flags provided with the map.
I give 3 stars for below mentioned reasons:
    1. The map is made of foam and is very delicate to handle, particularly if you ordered it for a super active 4 – 6 year old!
    2. A card board with the Indian Map drawn on it is provided along with, on which one has to place the foam map and start inserting the puzzle pieces. However I had to fix the cardboard with scotchtape from four corners so that the foam puzzle stays in place and becomes easy to hold and work.
    3. While the stickers mention the Capital cities, I think it would be a good thing to even have stickers for the states name. I wrote the names of the states and stuck those on the other side of the flag and so my kid could match the names of the states with the corresponding city capital flags.

I really did want to love this. But cramming foam pieces inside a foam outer shape is not what I expected. Perhaps I should have read better. Even if they just gave a nice piece of plastic to lay it on. If you don’t have something to lay it on that’s hard, it will fall apart while you are trying to do it. When I picked it up out of the box all the piece just fell right out the bottom! I feel like this is more for 8 year olds or above. I get the flags are part of what you are lying for, but the map itself I would expect to pay much less for

The product is absolutely apt for kids of 6+ age.. The quality is awesome and the finish is in line with perfection.I would definitely recommend this product to everyone willing to teach states and capitals. Only negative point is the amount of cardboard and plastic wasted by Amazon to send this box.
