I have a newer home built in 2014 and had this prior gen/model of this faucet installed when built. The faucet began to turn green around the base so I wanted to replace them with the “same” model. The product sold here is the next generation of the product, which looks almost identical. The one issue is that Moen charged the angle of the water output. The issue with that is now the water hits the front of the drain and splashes out of the sink. The old model hit the back of the drain. Not sure why there would change this angle but it is different and causes the water to hit a different area of the sink. Likely not an issue for everyone but wanted to mention it. Other than that it’s a great faucet and Moen customer support is great.

Maybe I just got a rare bad one, but it’s leaking 1 drop every 25 seconds out of the faucet, from the moment it was installed. The crappy $30 plastic faucet it replaced never leaked a drop.

Bought this to replace an identical set which were seriously corroded. I know Moen supposedly has a lifetime warranty, but not worth the hassle. Hope these last longer.

Easy to install and very elegant Chrome finish is excellent the only thing that comes
to mind is that you have to take out low GPM Water-Saving Faucet Aerator at the end to have a stronger water flo.But if do so, and you have a low sink it may splash.

This seems to be a well-designed product and works well aside from a few design decisions which are incomprehensibly stupid. they do not include hoses with the faucet unlike most other manufacturers. This requires a separate trip to Home Depot where I asked myself why don’t I just buy the faucet here? The Kohler faucets at Home Depot all have attached hoses. Once you get the hose, you realize that you must attach the hose after you attach the faucet to the sink with the plastic nuts which are hand tightened. This means that although they have used modern attachments for the faucet, they have gone back and required you to use a wrench to attach the hoses to the faucet while it is installed. This can be very difficult to do because of space limitations. What a poor design! I also find fault with the way the drain lever under the sink attaches to the vertical rod. A thumbscrew would work much better and is common with other plumbing manufacturers faucets. Again this requires a wrench to tighten. Overall, it seems to be a well-designed product, however like many bathroom faucets the depth is very shallow from back to front. This means you will hit your hands on the side of the sink away from you while you are washing your hands. Another poor design. Why a manufacturer would make a quality product and then spoil the experience of it through cheap attempts to save a penny or two I cannot even begin to understand.

what you do not see in the picture is the complete drain that is under the stopper and all the thingies and attachments…be assured.
everything you need for the complete hook up…it’s there. Heavy unit, nice finish, it’s is NOT all brass under, but you can see, feel there should be no problems and the warrantee on it is lifetime. We bought the brushed nickel finish. Installed same day.

The flow of the water, when very, very little, will arc back onto the counter and flood your bathroom. Kids have accidentally left the tap on ever so slightly and we’ve discovered floods. Moen support said ‘You will have to try not to use the faucet at such a low flow rate and ensure the water is turned off completely when not in use. ‘ As if we are intentionally doing this. Disappointed.

Terrible! The arc isn’t far enough into the sink, it’s very short, every time I wash up I hit my hands on the back of the sink and water splashes all over the counter because the faucet is so short it doesn’t aim the water into the center of the sink.

We really like the design in as much as easy to keep clean… HOWEVER .. it doesn’t reach over the sink bowl very far and therefore hard to get your hands under the running water … the neck should be longer or at more of an angle

Too late to return it but we will be replacing it

These taps are great looking as they matched the rest of the bathroom hardwear, plus they come from Moen, what more can you say.

I had this installed when I remodeled a bathroom four years ago. It looks nice (I didn’t pick it out) and is easy to keep clean. Over the weekend I put some very strong drain cleaner down the pipe to remove a hair clog (she picked it out) and things didn’t go well. It backed up and the top part of the drain assembly is now stained. I used a good cleaner but the brushed nickle is corroded. So I called 1-800-BUY-MOEN and they’re sending me a replacement, complimentary, even though I told the nice lady I expected to pay because it was not a product default.

I read customer reviews for virtually everything I buy on Amazon and always stay away from companies with bad customer support reviews. So I thought I would pass this positive review along for people considering buying Moen. I offered to pay for the part and shipping and she declined. Things don’t work that way very often.

I like the look, and it was great when it was new, but one of the faucet handles has gradually become harder and harder to turn and it barely usable now. Took less than 3 years. This is apparently common with these faucets and many people are reporting the same issue, some in less than 2 years. I prefer faucets that last longer without maintenance.

I called Moen and they sent a replacement cartridge. They also instructed me to back a screw inside the handle out a bit and that will hopefully keep this from happening again. So, looks like they had a bit of a quality control issue.

Sadly, the new cartridge did not work. It was also difficult to get unscrewed, possibly because the cartridge was leaking because I found a lot of corrosion once I eventually got it off. Turned out while maybe the cartridge needed replacing, it was actually the handle itself that is sticking. I had to call Moen again. Now they are sending a new handle, but it may hake a month to arrive.

It’s nice that it’s being handled under warranty, but this is taking a lot of time and effort. This faucet was way too expensive for all this time and trouble.

I recently replaced my 20 year old worn out bathroom faucets with this set. They have a very good ,all metal, quality feel to them compared to the plastic garbage that is prevalent today. Installation was very easy ( yes you do need to purchase the feed lines separately ) but overall I am very impressed with the product.
