Exactly what I needed for my car trunk – bright, easy to install/remove to charge, and motion sensors!

These lights are perfect for the space I wanted to install them in. They give a nice, warm color and match the already existing overhead can LED’s that came installed in my new house. The installation was quite easy- all you need to do is make sure you fully charge the batteries. The LED charging indicator will turn from red to green when fully charged. I recommend for a gang-charge or charge them all at once, get one of those surge protectors that has 4 USB charging ports and all of them will charge in no time. After I charged them up, all I did was add the 4 sticker tabs on the metal strip, align them to the center of my cabinet underside and pushed on them firmly for a secure attachment. I like how the lights are magnetized and you can align them if they look crooked.
Now for those folks who say that these don’t work, well here’s news for you. The device uses a photo detector meaning that whenever there is light, it will keep the device off until it is pitched dark. That’s when the lights will turn on when it detects motion. Lights will not turn on during the day- makes sense? So you can’t just wave your hands and expect them to turn on. If you did that then the batteries will be dead in no time and you defeat the purpose of the entire light how it’s supposed to work and setup. So don’t forget to first fully-charge, then mount. Place the switch in the “G” mode for motion sensing and watch the magic work!!

I was mad at my girlfriend for turning on the lights in the morning so I purchased these in hopes of reducing the morning blindness that I was experiencing. Turns out these things are really bright after they are charged. So I’m still blind and now if the wind blows or it a mouse sneaks through the bedroom to the pantry the lights keep turning on. Of course all of this is BS, but the lights do work pretty good and the motion sensor feature “works” albeit sometimes its a little slow to respond. Just buy them and shut up about it.

Finally, lights in my kitchen. I had my kitchen remodeled and never liked the lighting. It was always too dark so I bought these, just shopping around on Amazon for something else. So glad I did. I forgot there were two of them first of all and that made me really happy and they are magnetic. They came with two magnetic bars and double sided tape. I put one over my stove and one over my sink. Now my stove and sink are well lit and I am so very, very happy. One thing, the one over the sink fell off one day. Not sure if I didn’t use enough tape, the steam from dish water loosened it, but whatever; the light got water in it as I found it sitting in the water, so I set it aside to drain and it kept right on working. Just had to add more double sided tape after it drained and stuck it right back up. Now I will never have to cook or wash dishes in the dark again. And last, the motion sensitivity is another plus. At night, when I go into my kitchen, either one will come on to light my way in the dark. No need to even turn on the real light. I will definitely buy more for a back up just to be safe. I never want to be in the dark again.

What a great little improvement to my apartment! I’m using them for undercounter lights. They light is bluish but plenty bright, the motion sensor is reliable, very sleek.

The good: they look nice. Low profile and not cheap looking. The lights are quite bright on a full charge. The magnet is strong enough to hold on a metal surface (can’t speak to the tape and metal strips included with lights). They are rechargeable so don’t eat batteries like other cabinet lights I have. The not so good: the charge doesn’t last all that long if light is in “on” mode. The motion sensor works but light doesn’t stay on long so a lot of on and off if using under a cabinet. The switch to turn on is a very tiny slider with the “off” is in the middle between on and motion activated. Difficult to see and to maneuver. Also, the markings are upside down when the light is installed. A silly design oversight. All in all, ok. Probably not worth what I paid.

I am using these lights around kitchen appliances like air fryer and my stove top. They’re not directly in the line of any heat. I have to charge them about once a week. I’ve seen other products similarly used by friends that had a longer charge and changeable brightness–would’ve liked to have seen that. But otherwise, I do like these overall. They are a colder Daylight look, but still very bright. I might change one of these out to my spice cabinet and see if this same light comes in a warmer tone.

The issue is with the ‘motion-sensor’ function in reality vs the product text used in the consumer information. The light goes ‘on’ in the motion-based setting – but only stays on for about 20 seconds EVEN THOUGH YOU WOULD BE MOVING AROUND AND WITHIN 3 FEET OF THE LIGHT ITSELF. And therein, lies the problem with the product. I liked the ‘thinness’ qualities and the ‘simple’ installation features. The product has potential only IF they resolve this ‘motion-sensor’ technology.
