These are the perfect size to cover my large sego palm (planted in the ground) and 2 large ferns in pots that I’ll leave outdoors all winter. Easy to put on and remove, don’t get weighed down by water when it rains, drawstrings work well. I still anchor the edges in a few places with some metal stakes or some garden rocks so they don’t blow off in heavy winds. I do like them better than one large sheet that I got last year and cut into three pieces. These work better for coverage since they are round. Good quality and better price on Amazon vs. hardware stores.

My boxwoods stand sentry to each side of my garage and they get iced over by the rain gutters during a bad snowstorm. So I put a garbage bag on top and secure it with a bungee cord. Then I put this cover over the entire tree. The point of the garbage bag is that heavy snow was turning to ice and starting to split my boxwoods, so I put the garbage bag over with a bungee for extra support from the ice. Then I covered the entire boxwood with this bag and tied it closed and bungee corded it to keep its shape under the weight of the snow/ice until I could get it off. Boxwoods this size are hard to replace.

The quality seems good but I bought these for the upcoming Nashville “winter “ and got them in time to cover my two gigantic ferns before the frost. Unfortunately they didn’t work and my two plants suffered severe damages and I ended up having to use a dolly and get them inside the garage to save them from completely dying.

We bought it to cover our huge fern. The description gave us the impression it was a bag like tarp we would place over the plant and pot. It’s actually a huge flat tarp with a drawstring. Getting that drawstring tight around the plant stand is impossible. It is great at keepibf the plant safe from the cold but we’re securri g ut by bunching up the edges and holding it tight with clothespins. We’ll keep looking

For years I have been dragging my potted plants in and out of the garage/house when cold weather comes. This was always a pain in the behind and sometimes I have to enlist my husband to help with the larger, heavy pots. I am so happy to have discovered this product that allows me to cover my tropical plants so they can be left on the patio. I have discovered I can use an extension pole (like a painting pole) to prop up the fabric to form a tent over the plant. I simply set up my plant tent and and wrap the extra fabric around to cover the sides and secure with some chip clips. They have worked great and I have not lost a plant due to freezing temps yet. Great product!

Super happy with our Plankets. We have used them for the last several years, and they seem to offer excellent protection from the cold down to the mid-20s. We use them on our roses and small citrus trees. If the temp drops below 20 degrees, we double them up. We also like that they are lightweight and easy to store. Highly recommended!

These things WORK. When it’s cold outside, they trap heat from the ground and plant to prevent freezing. they are water repellent also. The ONLY drawback is having to hose off the occasional bird “present”. They can get snagged on plants with thorns, so be careful how you remove them. They are re-useable season after season, but eventually the UV rays will break them down after a few years. Better than sheets? YES.

Well it has lasted all winter and we had a harsh winter this year. We will see what next year has to offer. Our of on in November and will be taking it off once all the snow leaves. Bought to keep the rabbits from eating the branches.

I have two four ft. hydrangea bushes and wanted to protect them from our Michigan winters. These work so well – they’re super easy to use, let the plants breathe and even look great! I used posts to create a teepee around the hydrangeas, wrapped lightly with burlap and placed leaves within. They didn’t appear adequately protected, so I purchased these. I feel the plants are now as protected as I can make them and with the green wrapping? They look like Christmas trees! There is twine to tighten the wrap at the bottom; we’ve had terrible winds lately and the covers stayed in place. I highly recommend.
