I received this today. I was fairly certain it was small based on Amazons description and reviewers comments. The first thing I did was to try to get a good idea of what the inside dimensions might actually be. Only due to the mechanism on the inside of the door. This does stick out a bit. As best I could tell, the dimensions (when door is closed) are 12″w x 5″d x 7″h. Granted, not much space, but then again it’s not a big safe either. The door opening (a swag) appeared to be approx. 5.375″ x 7.75″ so items will have to be angled in if it’s longer than the opening size. As in Amazons description, mounting is an option. Depending on your actions, the hardware supplied might need to be augmented. The two keys with this safe had 4 numbers inscribed on the round shaft. The last 3 of these were inscribed on the hole the key fits into. I do not know if this is standard information on all keys or if the locks are individually coded. I have plans on another purchase of this safe in the near future and can update this review at that time. It’s possible another reviewer knows and can enlighten me in regards to this. Setting the codes was easy for the most part. The Reset button has a plastic cap on it to avoid pushing it by accident after the codes have been set. Can tell you, when keying in the combination, it will be on the noticeable side. I can not make a statement on battery life yet. I reckon it will depend on the keypad usage. All in all, the safe seems to well built and solid. I would definitely recommend this item.

Great safe with plenty of space.You can program two codes and it comes with two keys. Looks and feels strong, not easy to open, like some people on you tube show how to crack open safe. Reset button on the inside has a cover,so you can not just put coat hanger through the back hole and press reset button for the code. I personally really like this safe and would buy it again.
I took this safe apart and just for curiosity, the spring that hold locking mechanics is strong and it hold locking mechanism well. You can not open/hack into it just by hitting hard from the top like some youtube videos show for these kind of safes. Buy it and you will like it….

I purchased this safe after buying a $17 safe off of Amazon and being completely dissatisfied, it was a piece of crap. I guess that’s what you get for $17 so I decided to step it up a little and this gets the job done for a small at home safe.
If someone really wanted to get in it I’m sure they could and, but it deters people from messing with your stuff, it’s pretty sturdy and decently heavy as well.
1-YEAR UPDATE: 10 days from the year, safe is still in good standing. One thing I would recommend though,
**DON’T USE THEIR BATTERIES, USE HIGH QUALITY BATTERIES THAT WILL LAST A LONG TIME.**
The batteries they gave me died in the first few months, and, while initially I had no issue with the keypad and my PIN, after I had to change the batteries, my PIN didn’t work. I also had issues setting a new PIN.. so I had to reluctantly use the factory PIN.
Then, for some reason my old PIN started working again.
Hopefully this doesn’t happen again, or to you, but do yourself a favor and use high quality batteries the first time around.
I’ve had it for 2 weeks or so and the setup was super easy, the keypad works great I put the keys somewhere where they can be found and have just been using that to get in, and I have to use it everyday as I keep medication in there.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the handle does seem a little flimsy, maybe not flimsy but just a bit cheaply-made I guess is more of what I’m getting at. I don’t feel like it’s going to break off, but just when you turn it, it doesn’t feel as premium as it should when the rest of the safe is built of better material.
Good products, don’t spend less than 40 bucks on a safe, if you really want that piece of mind at least step it up to that, those cheap safes for $15 or $20 are exactly that, don’t waste your time I sent mine back 10 minutes after I got it.

Absolutely horrible craftsmanship and quality control can’t even open the unit as they have a piece of cloth stuck in between the doors jamming it I’m assuming from the inside but again can’t even manage to pry this crap open! I’ll be returning for a refund and shop with a company that works!

I had to replace my old safe of 10yrs when it stoped working its come to my attention that u can break into this safe someone was steeling my sons meds and ive been freeking out trying to figure out who and how when I caught them this safe will NOT keep a addict out >.>
I’ve had to change this safes battery’s 3 times since I got this safe a MONTH ago they just keep dying w.o any warning no light changes to indicate dying battery’s I replaced my old safe that had this issue but it was fine for 5yrs how is it I replaced a 5yr old safe JUST STARTING to have this pro9b with a new one already broken such a waist

No tengo ni 6 meses que compré el producto y ya no funciona. No es un tema de pilas, ni de mal uso. Simplemente lleva dos días que no abre con la clave y solo se puede abrir con la llave pero eso no es funcional porque es una caja de uso comunitario y requerimos usarla con clave

You have to be very specific the way you pack things inside. I spent a very long time trying to get the door to lock despite there being what I consider a lot of space inside left for the door to close and lock.

PURCHASED FOR MY DAD, TO KEEP THE TRUCK KEYS. THE OVER RIDE KEYS GOT LOCKED INSIDE BY THE INSTALLER.

I ordered two of these and got them the next day. I was very excited because due to some personal issues in the home medications and such must be locked away. As I putting the batteries in to the back of the digital pad, the little plastic thing breaks and makes it impossible to use batteries and therefore I cannot use the digital pad at all. On the second one the pad didn’t work even with the batteries in. I was perplexed that it broke the minute I touched it. It is very cheap thin plastic on the inside of the door. It’s essentially a paperweight or garbage at this point. I decided to keep them and use the key feature because I keep them high up Out Of Reach. If you truly need to keep something safe or dry or Fireproof this is absolutely a terrible purchase. Cannot believe how much I paid for them. BUYER BEWARE!!!
