I bought this belt as a gift for my brother that just ripped his old one and I couldn’t be happier. The boxing of the product is really beyond what I expected which only made the gift look much more impressive. The top quality of the leather was clear the second he opened the box as you can feel and even smell it’s the real deal. He really appreciates the clicking mechanism of the belt as well as it lets him adjust the size much more precisely than your average belt. I would say this belt is worth more than the selling price which only makes it that much better of a buy.
Would recommend 10 times out of 10.

So far, so good! I echo the thoughts of other reviewers that the packaging on this belt was really nice. But what really matters is the look and quality of the product. The ratchet design of the buckle, which eliminates the need for holes in the belt, is really slick and makes for a very neat and clean look. I suspect it will make the belt wear longer as well. I can’t make this a five star review yet, since I’ve only had the belt for a few weeks and don’t know if the construction and leather will hold up to frequent use. I can say at this point that I’d buy another one.

I’m very pleased with the look and feel, the overall quality and the price. I had a little scare figuring out how to unlatch it after trying it on—then figured it out. So practice that first before tightening. I’m looking forward to purchasing a different color next. Arrived on time, nicely packaged

Decided to buy one to try out the “new to me” ratchet system. I ordered a size up as suggested. Very happy with how it looks & feels. Very easy to use – so I purchased another one.

I liked the way the belt fits and looks. Unfortunately, the tab that releases the latch is a little fragile. It broke off, leaving me to try to figure out how to get the belt off without it. I did, but it wasn’t very easy. It was a bit disappointing.

Another home run for Access Denied. Starting with the packaging, which is gift ready and elegantly done. The box itself is wrapped in a custom plastic bag, and once opened, you see the belt is also packed in a plastic bag, and if that weren’t enough, the buckle is covered with a plastic film to prevent scratching or tarnishing. Someone put a lot of time and effort into designing the packaging to complement the belt it contains.
As for the belt itself, it is finished a very nice crosshatch grain, which looks great with any dress slacks or suit, and even casual pants. The buckle locking mechanism works great, as it ratchets to whatever the closest and most comfortable position needed to wear comfortably. No more having to settle for a loser hole if the next one is too tight … the buckle/ratchet concept ensures a perfect fit every time. Again, the designers put a lot of thought and effort into this product, which is typical of every product I have purchased from Access Denied. Can’t say enough good things about this company.

I bought this ratchet belt for my son in a 32” as he’s growing and it’s hard to get just the right size. He can adjust it to his perfect fit and comfort.
It is a gorgeous belt.
His father is extremely jealous and says he wants one “just like that” (only much bigger, lol) for himself. He says he loves the buckle design. I wish I had bought him a belt instead of a wallet, but I just didn’t realize how much he would like it.
Anyway, we WILL be getting more FO SHO!
I got this belt on a “lightning deal” so, it might be a while before it’s in our price range again, but it was well worth what I paid at the time.

I mean the concept is nice. The look is nice. The function is close but needs tuning. The release button needs some work. Under tension it doesn’t function correctly. Take the tension off with one hand to release more easily. The rachet system is a great idea and the look of the belt is nice. If they fixed the button and made it out of real leather I’d be more happy.
At Winners I can buy a real brand name genuine leather belt from Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole, or Perry Ellis for about 20-25 bucks. In real genuine leather.
For the current item price, they could easily afford to make these improvements and I highly suggest they do.

They look great and hold my pants up. What else could I ask for? Oh, you want more? They are inexpensive too. I would buy a bit big or in a range if you want to get one just the right length. I bought three different colors in the same size and they were three different lengths. No big deal they were all long enough but I can see where that would be a problem with some people. I like the ratchet and release design it just looks nicer with no holes and is a lot more adjustable.

Time will tell with how long this belt will last, but after a couple weeks it has served me well.
Having a more accurate fit is very nice, 3mm spacing vs 1 inch spacing of a typical belt.
(Update) after two months of having this belt, I’ve come across major problems.
The first problem that occurred is the leather that the belt spikes clamp on to has failed, causing the buckle to rip off the buckle side of the leather. The quality of the leather seems minimum, thin, and weak. I took cutco scissors to trim the damaged inch off so I can reclamp it. This made the belt shorter ofcourse.
Over two weeks the cheap leather is starting to show signs of failure where the buckle clamps, it will fail any day now.
The second problem is a rivet/tiny bolt failed inside the buckle, causing the lock to fall out making the belt useless. I used a small screw to fix it, probably made the mechanism stronger than ever before.
The third problem is that the spring mechanism for the lock inside the buckle is weakening over time. It doesn’t keep the lock down onto the plastic bumps as it should, I have to help the belt lock itself when I put it on.
This belt was amazing at first, the mechanism worked flawlessly. This product had huge potential, but was cut way short of meeting that level of success. The lack of quality in material choice ruined what this belt could have been.
I loved the belt, but I am deeply disappointed in the money saving shortcuts of turning it into another piece of junk to add to the landfills of the world.
Surprisingly I expected the plastic bumps to wear down and fail over time, but that is the only part of the belt not showing any wear.
