I was pleasantly surprised by the options available in this cooler especially since it is providing cool air in the area where you want it; so essentially it is personal assistant outdoor or in the patio area providing you cool air as you enjoy the warmer temperatures; excellent concept and great functionality, have been using it for the last one week with no complaints!

My apartment building has a heat/chiller system that requires a switchover to one or the other. The switch from heat to chilled air has not happened as yet but the temp is sometimes approaching 80. This fantastic little evaporative cooler is a lifesaver, making my close to 80 degree apartment bearable so I can get some sleep. I highly recommend this little wonder! Easy to set up and easy to refill the water container. It is powerful!

During Covid my home office got shifted to the corner of the Garage as kids needed their own space for zoom classes and I needed a quiet place to work but during the warm days especially in So Cal the Garage got very hot. I was able to get a air cooler before everything started selling out and it serve the purpose but the water would run out quickly. I wanted to wanted something that would last most of the day until I came across this unit. this one had 1 gallon of water capacity and it has water inlets on the top which makes it very easy to add the water. I have 4 frozen icebox (which I freeze over night and while not using the other 2) and use it 2 at a time and it last me most of the day. I keeps my garage office area nice and cool and having that moister in the air in this dry heat area makes a big difference. The timer is a great feature as sometime I forget to turn it off and it won’t run the whole night while I am not there. Overall I am very happy with this product and it saved me by not installing an expensive AC in the garage.

This swamp cooler uses this natural process by taking warm air from inside your home through a fan into the unit where it can then be cooled 20 degrees using damp pads. The cooled air is then circulated through your home using a fan system; an additional bonus that helps the temperature of your home feel around five degrees cooler than the actual room temperature. Quiet, efficient and works like a much bigger and more expensive unit.

The product is easy to move and setup and is good at cooling a small area for a few hours. Don’t expect the air too be cold even when using the ice pack and cold water. It lowers the temperature by 3-6 F depending on how large the room you want to cool is. Good value for money but be prepared for daily refills with ice and freezing the ice packs.
The listing for this cooler also used to be for some sort of power tools since there is a mention of these in the Q&A and the oldest review mentions a tool tote which I found very strange. In addition to this, my unit just had 2 cooling packs instead of the 4 that the description lists.

So, last summer, we broke several area records for heat (many 108-degree days). We’re worried about putting such a heavy load on the air conditioner this summer, so we thought we’d give an evaporative air cooler a try. They use 50% less energy, they don’t use freon and they work well in dry, desert environments — check, check and check.
It’s still chilly here but we hooked this up to give it a try and it works great. Keep in mind this isn’t an air conditioner. It’s an evaporative cooler, which means it evaporates water and then blows that cooler air. It’s not going to be ice-cold air. In fact, it’ll be about as cool as the water you put in, so it isn’t going to make a hot room cold, but it can keep a cool room cool. And, by blowing the warm air off of you, it can cool you personally, even if the interior temp doesn’t change. This also includes four ice packs you can put in the tank to make the breeze cooler.
We liked that there were two ways to add water — a big tank on the bottom and a smaller tank on the top for quick fills. We also loved that it comes with a remote, which is nice if you’re sitting on the couch watching something and don’t want to get up. It’s not very noisy, either (and there are three fan speeds), so it’ll hopefully work for keeping cool at night. So far, so good and we’ll see how it performs when the temps get crazy.

Started using this product, easy to operate and find it efficient to keep room colder.
Sometimes I use timer to run this for 2-4hrs.
I liked this product and meets my needs.

I live in Fresno (yes, on purpose) and our summers get hot! I have a 1300 sq ft condo and can pay over $500 in the summer due to a/c. I only set it up today, but even just with water it cooled down my living room by 5 degrees in an hour. I can only imagine how beneficial it will be when I add ice packs! I bought 2 and plan on putting one in my living room and one in my bedroom. The fan is slightly louder than I’d love, but way less annoying than you see with the swamp coolers in hotels. It just sounds like a fan running (but in all fairness I have it on the highest setting – on the lower setting I was pleasantly surprised). I think my only real issue is I had really wanted more humidity from it. I’m not sure I’d market it as humidifying – I’m sure it adds some moisture, but I was really wanting more like a cool humidifier for my dry eyes and mouth. I’ll keep them because they’ll help keep the house cool and they’re a great value! But unfortunately I’ll probably have to still use a humidifier and wanted a one and done kind of thing so slightly disappointed. It does such a great job with cooling I recommended one for my daughter and may buy her one so they’re definitely a great option, but if you are looking for real humidity added to a room, I’m not sure this is the best option.
