We love this little guy. Our intex above ground pool is round 15’x38″ . It was hard to find a sweep that wasn’t to large, did the job, and would run over the bottom without stopping at the folds we weren’t able to stretch out. It works beautifully. Gets even the small bugs that land on the bottom. Pine needles if there aren’t many and oak leaves also. We run it in the am and pm so debris doesn’t build up. Easy to clean. It does take 2 hours to recharge however it beats pushing the broom and not getting everything which was very frustrating. Next best thing would be a solar one…… Our pool looks great now.

We ordered this pool cleaner to use in our average size inground pool. This cleaner is a bit smaller than our other one, and even though it’s designed for a smaller space than ours, we chose this one is because it is lightweight and cordless. We just opened our pool, we always open it early, and it takes a little while to get it warmed up, the chemicals ready, and operational. This time of year we use our auto cover much more frequently to hold in heat and repel dirt and debris. The advantage of this little guy is we are able to clean the pool with the cover on. This is a huge advantage and the fact that we were unable to do this with our pool cleaner became a bit of an issue. My husband also likes to leave the pool cleaner running while we are trying to use the pool, which can be a bit awkward. It’s early in the season so we haven’t run into that but the cordless operation of this cleaner will allow us to operate it and swim with a little more comfort. It only takes a few hours to charge fully, as I was reading most of these require an overnight charge, and it’s doing a great job getting our pool spring ready. Check out my video for a demonstration, thank goodness for my underwater camera I was able to capture this little guy in action. I’m excited to turn this cleaner loose this pool season, as I cannot recommend automatic pool cleaners and particularly this one enough.

We have a 21″ round above ground pool and live in a dusty, windy area. Our pool gets dirty very quickly. We have tried about four different vacuums and this is the first one that actually works well.
Just charge it up and plop it in the pool, check back in an hour and that sucker has sucked up all the dirt!
We did need to make one minor hack. We live on a tropical island and the dust is microscopic volcanic dust, which is too small for the filter. So at first, our poolba would fly around the pool with a jet of dust shooting out the back. We stuck cheesecloth on top of the filter and now it cleans much easier. The cheese cloth needs to be rinsed between cleanings (and replaced occasionally) but it does a much better job with the tiny particles.

I sent it back! Yes, after a good review it went bad. What happened was the next day it would bump into the wall and just sit there. The flapper on top just wasn’t smooth enough to flip over. I had high hopes. It vacuumed well, battery life about a good 30 min. Too bad.
Wasn’t sure if battery power was going to do it. I’m an engineer so I know batteries. After I charged it I dropped in the water. I have a 18′ round above ground pool. Was running great then after 20 min., it started slowing down. So I’m thinking the batteries weren’t lasting as long as they stated. I pulled it out and opened it up and it was filled of debris. What was happening is the algae had covered the screen restricting water flow, that’s how it moves. I cleaned the screen and it ran great again. Battery effectively runs about 50 min. Not a big deal, that’s all my size pool needs.

Update, I was wrong, this unit picks up more than I expected. I try to take out anything very large just in case to avoid it getting stuck though my lawn guy leaves the pool quite dirty and this little unit picks up quite a bit. Someone was correct it did fracture on the inside on one side a little but it did not affect performance and it was not actually full broken plastic just an inside fracture that I guess happens. Anyways just in case, I requested a replacement. The manufacturer/Amazon replaced it right away. I honestly love this little unit so worth it and helpful.

I will say it does not look like much suction is going on though somehow with it’s crazy pattern it cleans the pool. The pattern mines came with makes no sense and have not spent the time to figure out the wheel change though it was there more than 1 hour and completely cleaned it. Now if your pool is full of large leaves, rocksc etc, take those out 1st. Once your pool is descent and you need maintenance cleaning such as dirt in the bottom of the pool that settles, small leaves, sand this is perfect for that bottom dark dirt and sand. This is not a heavy duty high suction item though for the price, no cord and simple, it does the job. Others with higher suction would regularly get stuck anyways. You will only need to brush the stairs and the back sitting area and as long as you use this 3 times a week or more if you like. If you keep your chemicals under control, the walls will not need brushing.
I am thinking of spending a little more for one of their highest model that does wall climbing but the more I have used this thing is not worth the extra money for now. It does cut your work by 80%. No cords which I love and super attractive unit and super easy to clean. Just open 4 clips and hose the inside once you remove the filter and snap it back together. Leave it to dry and charger again. I run it at night, turn on the pool light since it says not to run when the pump is on. Leave and take it out later. It brings a hook to take it out of the water and to put it in, I just turn it on right on top of the water at the lower level and carefully drop it in. The old vacuums(had 3 before going cordless)were always attached because it was harder to connect and disconnect. In addition it was often stuck depending on the pump setting that made it go or stop. This one is the easiest thing to use. Anyone can set it up. If you notice it does not go on for one hour or more, you probably need clean it because it happened to me the 1st time when the pool was dirtier. As maintenance it I would say it probably goes more than 1 hour and cleans my whole pool when before I always had to clean an area here and there, specially the corners.
