Trading up on a cell phone is exciting but it’s a bummer that most of the stuff you have for your old cell phone becomes landfill. This adapter lets me use my corded earphones/headsets and still charge my new device. Works great

I use this adapter for my galaxy s20+ and really like it. Not only can you listen to headphones, you can also charge your phone too. Just make sure to plug the headphones into the adapter and your phone BEFORE charging your phone or I noticed it doesn’t work as well. It does do fast charging too, which is nice. So overall, it was a decent purchase. So this next review here is really not needed, but I felt the need to share, lol. I added some pictures of the headphones I got from Amazon. They pretty much shut out the sound around you and fit comfortably on my ears without hurting after awhile. I like that they fold up really well for storage sake. It claims the cord is anti tangle, and so far, it seems to be just that. I’ve had them for quite a few months now. The plug part has this sturdy metal piece, along with a spring attached, that really helps the cord from bending and breaking as easily as most do. The price for both of these items were really good too. Sorry about the pointless review, lol, just felt I’d share since this was about an adapter for my phone and headphones 😊

UPDATE: this device has stopped working after just 2 weeks.
Bought this item so I could listen to music in the car. (Via aux) while charging. Firstly the device is very small, which for my use case is perfect!
However,
It is very hit or miss whether it gets registered by my phone. Sometimes it’ll register the charger but not the headphones other times it’ll register the headphones but not tge charge. And sometimes nothing registers at all.
The device will also draw power from the phone if the phobe doesnt detect the charging. An also it activates the phones messges saying Display Port isn’t supported which gets annoying when it’s not even a display device.
Once it does finally get recognised correctly, the sound quality is as good if not better than what you’d get from a built in headphone jack.
All in all, for me, the product is adequate for what I use it for. For other (newer) devices some of the issues I had may not be a problem. But if I needed it replacing, I’d probably try a different one.

So I bought this Ugreen adapter and the version from JSAUX. The both seem to work fine with my Samsung Galaxy S22…good sound, simultaneous fast charge. The Ugreen comes very well packaged, it is a little smaller and it is convenient having the input ports right next to each other. And it pulls out of the USB port a bit more easily than the USAUX, although neither will fall out. However, in the end, I went with the JSAUX because its cable is a good bit more robust and includes more stress relief on both ends, not just at the plug end like the Ugreen. But either one would probably be fine.

I purchased this after reading the spec list and seeing my phone listed , oneplus 6t. The item arrived the next day after ordering. The reason for buying this was so i could charge my phone whilst listening to my music. Unfortunately while it can do both , it can’t do both at the same time!! First time i used it, it started charging but there was no symbol on my screen to indicate it was, but no sound came through the speakers. Next i unplugged the charge cable and then the speakers started working. I have tried every combination of cables in, out, putting both cables in then turning on phone , but every time only 1 of the leads work.
So for me this is a waste of money.

So far, so good. I have the habit of plugging in my phone and listening to podcasts to fall asleep. With the elimination of the phone jack on the S20, I could not plug in my phone and my wired headphones.
I looked at several of these adaptors and, after reading reviews, I decided on this; even though it was a bit more expensive.
Very happy so far. The adapter works great. It charges my phone with rapid charging and there is no feedback on the headphones.
The directions are almost unreadable because the font is so small. As a matter of fact, there really are no directions; just specs, etc. I followed another reviewer’s instructions to plug in the headphones and power cord first into the adapter before plugging the adapter into the phone.

This might be fine for the odd use as it can come in handy, but wearing overhead stereo headphones and listening carefully i noticed the right ear was out of balance with the left, making music podcasts and phone calls out of sync with each ear.
And then when i plugged it into my car a loud screeching came from the aux as the rev’s went up. To go along with this terrible sound the hissing that came with it made it unbearable to listen too for more than 2 minutes.
For almost 20 pounds i expected more, have returned and would not recommend to anyone.

do not buy this product because it is of very poor quality also this seller is a person who is not honest enough so that you can buy this product I wrote to him before buying and he told me that if it was compatible and it is not, do not waste money and time with this supplier

Confirmed works with both the earphone jack and USB-C charger on a Samsung Galaxy S20 5G.
Please note – this only works with a 3-ring 3.5mm jack.
When I plugged in a 2-ring 3.5mm jack, the phone directs the sound to the earphones, but no sound is heard. A tried a couple of different earphones and the behaviour is the same.

The good: It sort of works, in that you can plug in both a charger and headphones into a single USB-C port and if used independently, both charging and headphones will work.
The bad: There’s serious line noise bleed from the DC power lines into the headphone output. I bought this to use with my Oneplus 8 Pro in my car. The setup is 12V DC cigarette USB charger -> Phone, then headphone out -> car radio aux in. I’ve used this in the past with no issues, but with this adapter there’s a constant hiss that comes out of the car speakers on medium volume if the charger is plugged in. It’s loud enough to render it practically unusable – not painfully loud, but it won’t be drowned out by whatever you play through it either. The hiss changes frequency in lockstep with engine RPM, and isn’t affected by phone volume at all.
I’m not entirely certain what the cause of this is, I suspect it’s some sort of ground loop happening between the power coming from the charger and the car radio aux input. It only happens with this adapter though – I’ve used several other phones with built in headphone jacks and it’s never been an issue. I’m therefore blaming the adapter and replacing it with a different model. FWIW I tested the adapter with headphones using a traditional wall charger and can’t hear any noise, so it might be ok for your purposes.

I recently got a Samsung Note 20 Ultra which does not have a headphone port. As usual Amazon had a remedy and this is the one I bought.
I’m using this in a 04′ Jeep with a non bluetooth headunit that I use a bluetooth FM modulator with. While the bluetooth usually works fine occasional it gets spotty and I end up plugging it in directly….. Which does sound better.
What I like about this and the new phone is I can leave it plugged in and simply select the audio out I want in the moment. Very easy! No more fumbling with the little 3.5 jack when I want to use it. Nope! Just drop the menu and change the outlet. So nice to plug in one thing instead of two. Much cleaner.
As for the device it feels nice in the hand and seems to be well made. It is also only a few inches long which I also like. It’s enough to grab and plug in but not enough to be a pain.
As I saw in another review plug the two cords into this before plugging it into the phone.

Works perfectly as intended for my use case. I currently use this with my iPad Pro (2020 12.9 Inch model), I connect this device, with the charger connected and a 3.5 aux cable running into my sound mixer on my desk. This is then mixed into my headphones with my PC audio and other devices.
My use case is for watching F1 on my iPad while using my PC and having all the audio come through one audio device. Delivers crisp, clear audio without the need for a ground loop isolator or anything like that with or without the charger connected. While using the charger, audio quality is consistently good, it appears to be charging my iPad perfectly fine with no issue.
Well built, packaging was fairly good and not too much plastic being used which is nice to see, however improvements could be made there for the future to make the product packaging more sustainable.
Would recommend this if you’re in need of a 3.5mm jack for your iPad or other USB-C only device without wanting to give up the ability to charge the device at the same time.
