the stools themselves are very eye appealing. the construction is solid. the instructions are less than helpful. ordered 5 total stools. first two went together ok, took about an hour per stool (solo job). the next two stools did not have the correct contents. there are four rungs to the stools and should include two short and two long rungs. one box had 3 long, 1 short and the other had 3 short and 1 long. thankfully because of this error, we were able to make the two stools work. they are very difficult to get all four legs level, after some trial and error, we found it best to assemble them part way and finish tightening bolts with the stool upright to help make sure they were level before attaching the seat back. one of the receptacles for a bolt was way too small and was stripping the bolt and we had to leave one of two empty. hopefully that does not compromise the weight the stool can bare. if it were not for the complexity of assembly and the parts mishap i would give these a 5 rating.
