I bought this for my toddler and will give it to her for Christmas. I took a peek and the quality looks just amazing and the box is durable for storage. Learning Resources has gained my trust as a manufacturer of high quality educational good and I know when I buy from their brand the stuff will be nice and not garbage. I like that this food set has lots of fruits and veggies, as well as some snack foods, but isn’t all hot dogs etc. I think her and her siblings will have lots of fun playing store and restaurant. I honestly recommend their products and think highly of their brand.

Amazing quality like everyone else says. The rubber toys have weight to them and are not cheap plastic. The sandwich bread is even spongey! So fun! Truly worth the money. Bought this because she fell in love with the food set at the gym kids club and this is the same one. Photo shows the sandwich even I had fun making LOL

Me encanta la calidad del material con el que estan hechos los elementos, es un plastico sueve pero resistente y en algunos elementos incluso es flexible.
Son muy bonitos, tienen los colores adecuados y el tamaño ideal para niños pequeños.

Wishing I could give it more stars! I read other reviewers speak of the quality and wondered, “what’s so great about toy food?” Seriously, I’ll never buy another brand! This is much more sturdy than other play food. Firm and resilient enough that I don’t have to worry about my toddler crushing or breaking it, and soft enough that I don’t worry about him scratching his baby sister with it! We talk about what the food items are called, their colors, count them, and practice sharing. I can wait to buy the other sets! I’m so glad I stumbled across such an awesome find

Ok, so I didn’t take the best pictures because I didn’t think I was going to do a review. I did a lot of research because I didn’t want to buy a bunch of toy food that never gets played with. This set is very high quality and nothing like the cheap lots you normally get that collapse when you squeeze them. When I was taking it all out I liked everything but the juice box. It just looked plain and not needed, well guess what my daughters favorite thing out of this set is??? Yep, the juice box. Haha. She is just shy of 2 years old and this toy has helped her with saying and recognizing different food items. My god son came over (he is 7) and loved this, he had a hard time sharing he liked it so much and would take our order and serve us up different things. It’s a really good set for the price and you won’t get all the extra unnecessary stuff that will just break and take up space.

Wanted good quality food toys to help teach baby the different foods. These are definitely the best! Price point – a bit expensive (only reason I docked a star) for toys but they are pretty realistic compared to other brands. The plastic is thick and soft making it easy to grab for little fingers. Comes with shopping basket and fruit basket. Will order the other baskets eventually. Overall really happy I ordered these and I know they will last a long time!

This is the BEST set of play food that we have found! Excellent quality and a perfect size for small hands. Very realistic looking food (fruit, meat, desserts, vegetables, etc). I bought these for my niece and nephew’s Ikea play kitchen. These pieces are great – not hard plastic, a little flexible, sized for little hands, nicely coloured. They seem to be good quality. The salami-cheese-tomato-ice-cream-t-bone-sandwich my niece made me was delicious!

I bought this set to go with the Hape table top wooden kitchen set for my grandkids to play with. I’ve bought other play food in the past, and they always seemed very cheap plastic, but this is definitely the nicest set I’ve ever seen. It has more of a “rubberized” feel to it. And whereas the cheap plastic sets would be dented in, when a little one chews on it, these pieces would just bounce back to shape, like rubber. They are squishy. Also there’s a good variety of play pieces. My grandkids love playing with these. This is a case, where you definitely get what you pay for, in terms of quality! I would definitely highly recommend this set of play food! It would be nice if they sold a set of dessert items like this too! I’d buy it!

This is our second set of play food from this brand and the quality is fantastic. Yes, the pieces are fairly small, but they’re perfect for little hands.
My little loves playing grocery and these have also helped with counting, colors and learning where food comes from/ what is grown in the garden, from a farm or made in a factory.
Just a heads up that the picture on the box is a bit misleading. There were no raspberries and the sandwich meat was like a skinny hamburger patty, not turkey. That said, the contents are listed on the back of the box and we received everything listed.
Great all around set for healthy foods and a few treats. We also love the Healthy Dinner set.
Just buy it! You’ll get your moneys worth with how long kids can play with this set.

This food is legit! Nicest quality play food I’ve come across! Love that it came with a grocery basket and a faux wicker/farm basket. Kids loved it and my 3 year old knew exactly what everything was except the Ice cream sandwich because we are negligent parents and he’s lived 3 years never having had an ice cream sandwich.

i was overly impressed with the quality materials of these pretend toys; it is NOT your typical garbage plastic that’s super thin, breaks within first few uses, not toddler/godzilla proof, etc etc. moms know the usual cheap plastic toy: kid loves it for a few days then next thing you know the toy is destroyed/unrecognizable and totally junky looking and ends up in the TRASH if it’s my children’s toys that look like this. i highly recommend this for someone really desiring a better quality of pretend toys for children. i got this set to go along with a grocery store playset i bought at another store as one of their christmas gifts this last year. definitely worth the slightly higher price than you’ll see for similar items that are different brands and no where near the same great quality. it’s a higher price point for a reason.
