Wow. I got this thing and ended up randomly spening 3 hours blasting all the tile in my home. So amazing how much gunk comes off you didnt even know was there. Definitely recommend this. I think there is a generic one that’s less $ but not sure of the quality. This one however is awesome.

Had good water but definitely not hot enough to sanitize anything. I allowed us to heat up for 15 to 20 minutes and according to the directions once the orange light turns off the product is heated and ready for use the light turned off after maybe five minutes and even after allowing it to heat up further I could still hold my hand directly in front of the steam and still was not hot. Returned it.

Haven’t used this for very long so can’t I say how reliable it is just yet. However it worked well cleaning floor tile grout. The steam it produces is very hot, scalding is more like it, regardless of what other people have said in their review. The capacity could stand to be a little larger, as the 6.6 oz lasted me about 10-12 minutes on my grout. Luckily it’s easy to refill and reheats in less than 1 minute.
It seems to be built pretty solid, and the attachments are pretty fair.
The beef I have is farther down in the page on the Amazon site, it says a fabric steamer is included, that is not the case per Amazon.
I will attempt to contact the vendor or the manufacturer to see if in fact this was a packaging error or an error in the listing.
There are several review sites that I checked that this unit was rated the best for hand held steamers, this even though it was cheaper than most others on the list. That can’t be a bad thing.
All in all, especially for the price, this unit is well worth the money.

Purchased this as a replacement for a steamer bought online shopping 13 years ago, that finally died. I use this for my two tiled bathrooms. Very impressed when I used this for the first time today. Lots of steam, very quickly . Not too heavy to use for cleaning a whole bathroom, floor, walls, shower. Grout attachment works wonders. Would highly recommend.

I’m not writing this review because I got a free sample to try (as I noticed some of the Vine reviews on here). I bought this with my own hard-earned money to see if it could help with some difficult-to-clean spots. I have no regrets on buying it! The best thing it has done is clean my dirty kitchen grout. It comes with a very sturdy brush attachment for cleaning grout. It worked so well and cleaned the grout to like-new. I’ve also used it for dusting (on steam/water safe areas), window cleaning (spraying with steam and wiping with a cloth), and sanitizing. It has very good pressure that really cleans! I would say if you use it a long time it is a little heavy but nothing I can’t handle. Also, when you want to refill it, it has to sit for about 5 minutes (or unscrew the lid very carefully with a towel—but don’t burn yourself). Overall, I love it!

First and foremost… I’ve read the reviews, in my opinion 90% of the negative reviews are from unrealistic people. For the size, water capacity, and price point, it’s an amazing product. So based on my experience thus far, here are my rebuttals from the negative reviews:
1) if water is coming out, you overfilled it or are moving it around too fast.
2) it’s a hand-held unit, of course it’s not going to get skin melting hot! Any higher heat and pressure it would be a ticking time bomb.
3) if it’s not hot and high pressure, then you are most likely not paying attention to the unit starting a new heating cycle because you used enough pressure to trigger it.
4) this is a small unit, and the accessories are even smaller…of course the bristles are going to break down fast! The tougher the job the quicker it’ll wear down… that’s simple basic logic. Besides replacement parts are just $2.99 on the Bissell website.
5) if you aren’t using filtered or demineralized water, or are leaving the water inside the unit…just like ANY water heating tool, it’s going to calcify and clog… that’s a scientific fact! And do to the small size, harder your water is the quicker it will clog.
Here’s what I’ve been able to use this product on:
Cleaned and sanitized the fridge
Cleaned trash cans and dust pans
Pressure cleaned my washable vacuum filter
Cleaning catfood vomit on an area rug
Cleaning up hairball messes
Sanitize the tile under and around the litter box
Spot clean couch/pillows/chairs
Cut through cooked on messes on stovetop
Sanitize doorknobs
Remove oily stains on doors
Sanitize nail clippers and pedicure tools
And……
As you can see from the photos cleaned 4 years of dirt from the grout in the kitchen and living room!
No, this is not made for large projects…it’s hand-held and made for quick jobs! It’s great for me as it forces me to take breaks while it cools to be refilled(otherwise I overdo it and overwork myself to a crazy frenzy). This will not work “wonders”, it’s made to maintain already kept up surfaces and to aid in pre-treating tough jobs.

There are so many reviews that are confusing.
I think people who had issues with sputtering/stopped working.. Is because they didn’t use DISTILLED WATER! Please read instructions before you review people. My apartment was made in the 50s. It was a cheap apartment to start over in. But I’m downtown and the grime from outside. Also the person who moved out was not so nice and there was chunks of dog hair coming out of the window 🤮🤮🤮 but I was so satisfied seeing sparkling white windows. Yeah it’s a rental, but this is where I live. Can’t wait to use on my back window. This works so well on screen windows especially in a city.
UPDATE: A DREAM TO USE IN THE BATHROOM! My friend is now wanting one… Just get it.

This is 110volt device made for the US market. Will not work in India. Why does Amazon sell this in India?????
