If Best Buy had this on sale and I could not pass up opportunity to purchase it at a great price

Ever since I purchased this my computer starts up in about 10 seconds.

I love it. I can load GTA V into a Story mode in 25 seconds. I can boot to windows in 10! Speed and size. This has been very reliable. Now I wish I had a much larger one so that all the games on my other drives would respond just as fast. 4,000 MBs read speed is great

While I’m not convinced that the heat sync or “gaming mode” really does much, this is a very nice drive, looks good in my build, and is fast even by SSD standards.
Honestly though, this is overkill, and the average gamer likely won’t notice any difference between this and a SATA SSD. So if you’re not as concerned about aesthetics as me, just buy a SATA drive and get a few games to put on it with the extra money.

Replaced an HP gamer 256 SSD original drive with this one. It was much faster than the original and it is 1TB. I had to totally replace the start system on the new drive, but that was because the computer only had one NVMe port. I am very satisfied I went to the trouble of replacing the original drive!

But I never compared. This ssd doesn’t deserve an individual not understanding what it’s meant for thus only giving it 50%. I wish they were cheaper. I have a b&m key SATA SSD 3 128, m key pcie nmve 256, and another surface 128gb. I just buy pcie x16 that for 3 and can install 3 on the board.

Installed on my motherboard. Used WD free software to transfer my old C/ drive into this one with no issues. Does not come with a mounting screw so make sure to find the ones that come with the motherboard.

Personally I thought this was a better value for the purpose I was going to use it for (gaming) compared to the new SN850. It’s a fast storage drive and I really liked that it came with a heatsink, though not necessarily needed if you have a motherboard that covers up the NVMe drive with it’s own heatsink.
