I was helped by a very warm and knowledgeable gentleman named Laurence. His personality combined with his expertise in technology were a shining example of the kind of person you want helping you, as well as the type of person Best Buy should hire more of. I will gladly wait for him to be available to help me with my technology needs. You’d be wise to follow his advice and seek him out if you need help. The computer he recommended was a gift for my mother-in-law and she absolutely loves it. It’s fast, has a great webcam, LED indicators for muting sound, the microphone, as well as the webcam. The webcam is mechanically disabled at the press of a button, giving her peace of mind that nobody can spy on her even if the laptop gets hacked. The 2 in 1 and touch screen dazzled her and the speed the SSD provides left her speechless. This laptop is perfect for students and everyone else but the most demanding of activities, such as playing AAA games on the highest settings. You can’t go wrong with this laptop, HP Envy was the right choice and I’m glad I bought it. My mother-in-law is SO happy with it and she thought I paid way more for it than I did because the laptop looks and feels so premium. L

Overall it’s an OK laptop but not really amazing at this price point ($500) considering other alternatives. This laptop sacrifices in some areas to provide a touchscreen, which for me isn’t that necessary. I ended up returning this and picking up a Lenovo with a 5825u, 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD for $550. However it’s not a bad laptop by any means. If you just want some thing low powered with good CPU and a touchscreen this is a great computer. I stated below graphics are limited to only 512 MB which is a dealbreaker for me.
Pros: It does have a touchscreen display which is nice and a good Zen 3 processor. It does have two ram slots which can be upgraded fairly easily. SSD is also easily upgraded.
Cons: HP has limited the video memory to only 512 MB in the bios is in accessible to the user to change. Unfortunately this is a dealbreaker for me because the system is capable of much more. I have a 3200u system that’s able to access all 2 GB possible and it’s really a shame that the graphics have been limited. The speakers are absolutely terrible, just really lacking.

I needed a laptop for school. I was looking at a few microsoft ones and an hp one before i came in the store. This gentleman ended up telling me about this hp laptop. I was okay with it because i was looking at the hp pavillion x360 which is similar to the envy with just minor differences. I ended getting this envy laptop and ive had it for about 2 weeks now. And so far it works perfectly fine! The battery lasts long. It runs smoothly. The display is nice. It doesn’t heat up that fast. Whenever it does heat up the fans turn on and they are not loud!! So thats a plus. The touchscreen works perfectly. There is one thing with the touchscreen. When u tap it on laptop mode it does wobble but i usely just put my hand on the back of the screen to stop it. It works perfectly fine in tablet mode. So far i have no problem with this laptop.

Very well-built, feels sturdy, and very fast. Windows 11 seems to work okay but this is exactly the kind of hardware it seems well-suited for. I personally feel the memory is a bit low and have ordered a kit to boost the RAM to 16GB, at which point I think this machine will be more than competent. It’s not going to play the newest or most demanding games, but for everything else it is pretty seriously overpowered. I feel like I got away with something buying this for under $500 because the machine is way nicer than that price would suggest.
As a 2-in-in it is a bit on the big side, but I appreciate it can go into tablet mode if I want it.

First I would like to say the laptop is great. I read a few of the negative reviews. People are saying that the laptop doesn’t have keypad and fingerprint. There are different models of the HP 360x 2 n 1 touchscreen nightfall color laptops. Read the specifications and overview before purchasing the laptops. Go to the Bestbuy store and check out the laptops so you know what you are purchasing.

I am more than happy with this laptop. It’s a workhorse in the ways that matter, it can kill pretty much any basic work application and give you room to for fun stuff like gaming. It is a bit more pricey for higher storage devices, but that is not really a problem if you plan on using this for day-to-day operations. I am not a video editor so I am happy with the storage size but if that is what you plan on using it for, go for the heavy-duty version of this. The only feature I don’t really like on this device is the touch screen, but that is just out of personal prefance. Battery life is great for basic apps. Anything gaming related your gonna get 2-3 out of it max without it being on a charge.

My daughter bought this for school, as she has an older Envy and really liked it. The previous pictures advertised at time of purchase showed a numeric keypad, which was a big selling point for her. Much to her disappointment when she opened the box, not the laptop that was pictured, hence 4 stars. It’s fast enough and works well but she really wanted the numeric keypad. She spoke with a few customer service people who merely apologized for the “false advertising” and moved on. Best Buy did end up offering her some dollars back so that was nice enough.

  8. OUTSTANDING

Salesman was very professional and knowledgeable. What really impressed my husband and I was that he did not talk down to us. As senior citizens, we do not get the acknowledgement we deserve. He understood my frustration in buying a computer with my poor eyesight (without me saying a word.) He pointed the HP ENVY computer that had the biggest screen and that it had large keys and it was backlit. He and my husband talked about memory and how fast it would run. I bought that same one he pointed out to me. And, am using it now because it even has a touch screen!
