This kennel is aesthetically pleasing, is well made, well priced, is my dachshunds favourite place to lay round. It came much larger than I expected – totally my fault. But by the time I got it together I decided Big was better than too small. I say that I have a corral in my living room.

Exactly what we ordered, looks beautiful. We purchased 2 one for our Chihuahua and Yorkshire Terrier. We added a comfy pad for the bottom to protect the wood, so their beds/blanket fit and as you can see screwed in a water and food dish and finally have puppy pads for when we are at work. My chihuahua can hold it while at work, but my female terrier cannot. This is the perfect housing unit – quality and function – easy to install – quick delivery sooner than we expected

I bought the Large version of this. This is much bigger than I thought it would be but I’m very happy with it! I have a 32lb French Bulldog and he has plenty of space in there. It was very easy to construct as well. Instructions were easy to follow. I actually have the small version of this as well but wanted something bigger for my doggo. Pictured is the side by side comparison.

I really like these dog crate tables! I bought two of them in Espresso: we have two Border collies who insist on barking when guests come to the door. I bought them for practical purposes, but I have received many compliments on how nice they look in the living room. Frequently guests are surprised to notice that they are actually dog kennels. They dogs seem quite content in them; frequently they will choose to just go in and lie down. Even our big 100-lb Anatolian shepherd chooses to use one for taking naps from time to time.
There are standard fleece dog pads that nicely fit these table crates. I bought these at WalMart.
I found the kits easy to put together by myself. They are well-built and sturdy. Possibly, if I had a dog that didn’t want to be restrained the latch on the front would be inadequate. I probably would not use these for a dog that was not already somewhat crate-trained, and I wouldn’t leave puppies who are in their chewing phase in one of these wooden ones unsupervised for very long. That just seems common-sense.
The one thing I wish is that the doors were reversible, or could be ordered left or right. Since we have placed them at each end of our sofa, the left side table door opens into the wall.

I got this puppy today. I have to say that i am impressed. It went together fast, everything you need except a phillips is included. Once it is 100% assembles it is very sturdy and its huge. I read a couple of reviews on here where people said is was too small, people get that horse out of your house, it doesn’t belong there. A great dane could fit in this thing. I put my dog and my 2 kids in there and still had room to spare. The finish is nice, whoever packed this thing did a superb job, bubble wrap inside a box wrapped around foam everything was secure and didn’t bounce or slide during transit. There isn’t a scratch or nick on it. I also read a review stating not for a “destructive dog”, holy crap man, if you dog can tear this thing up, how do you sleep at night? I’d be worried that dog would be coming for me.

I was very hesitant to buy this reading the reviews. For the price it’s great. Nothing was damaged and all the pieces were there. Only problem is that there is a yellow mark on the very top. Other than that it is good.

Easy to assemble but not sturdy. My puppy destroyed it in 2 hours. The boards broke in half from being pushed against very cheap wood.

We purchased the large size for our two smaller dogs who share a crate. We love the look of this versus the wire crate we’ve had for years. It really is a piece of nice looking furniture. Assembly was easy, doing it by yourself shouldn’t be an issue but having a an extra set of hands was nice.
One of our pups is an avid chewer and we knew she’d make easy work of this wooden crate so we decided to make it “unchewable”. From our local hardware store we purchased 1/4 inch hardware cloth, 10’ x 2’ was perfect for the large crate- we only had to cut the length, height was perfect, and #8 x 1/2” screws. The #8 size head fit perfectly with overlap of the 1/4” opening, although a smaller head screw would work with washers and the 1/2” length was the just right for screwing into the thicker edge pieces. We measured, cut and installed it during assembly but it can be done afterwards you’ll just have to spend some time in the crate lol I’ve seen other recommendations for using plexiglass but I feel the hardware cloth is a little more straightforward. Just be sure to drill pilot holes for each screw and wear gloves as the medal can be very sharp.
Overall we love the difference this piece makes in our living room, it’s practical, functional and aesthetically pleasing. An added bonus is out cats love using it as a perch to look out the window lol
Only “issue” I have, and it’s not worth taking a star away, is the hinge type is a little lacking. It is a peg system on the top and bottom of the door and crate. It doesn’t allow for enough clearance on the bottom when opening and closing so the door rubs. We alleviate that by lifting slightly when using it and plan to add a handle to the door to make this easier.
We plan to also add an anti fatigue mat to the bottom for comfort and to help silence the sounds of them moving around or chew toys being played with.
I definitely recommend this. We’ve only had it a few weeks so time will tell about longevity but for now we are quite pleased with it.

We’ve got a 50-lb border collie. He’s normally docile. Never had a problem with a wire crate. Thought this one would look nicer in our living room, doubling as an end-table. Um…and it did. For about 4 hours. When we arrived home after our first time leaving him in the wood crate, we came home to discover he’d eaten a portion of the door.

    He ate the door.

This piece is made with woods native to wherever in Indonesia that it’s made. Possibly banana wood. Who knew our dog liked bananas? Or would go bananas and try to eat, claw and scratch his way out of the crate whilst we were gone? Frustrating. And he did enough damage that it shows. A lot, actually. It will require the proverbial can of quarter-inch putty to fix what he hath wrought. Stain and varnish, too. Oh, joy. Our solution? Put his original wire crate INSIDE the wood crate. Now we have the best of both worlds – a (mostly) attractive-looking end table (that will be fine, once we get the damage fixed) and an internal wire structure that prevents further damage.

If you follow our path of a crate-within-a-crate, be aware that, for ours, at least, the two doors hinged on opposite sides. I had to disassemble the wooden one and drill some extra holes to rehang the door on the opposite side. Not difficult, but only if you know your way around power tools.

Still, it’s a nice looking table. Just wish we’d thought of putting the old crate inside the new one, before our dog went all Euell Gibbons on the door.

This crate is good looking but predrilled holes on the wrong side of one panel. I noticed it just once the screw installed. I had to remove them and do my one holes (not a big issue but the previous holes are on the visible side.

Except that everything fine for now, not to hard to adjust and easy to assemble.

My 39 ponds dog fit well and look to like it.
