This laptop battery is good lasts long, easy to use for typing and research but the audio is terrible. However, thats not a problem because i only need it for school. A simple bluetooth or wired earphones would compensate for the dim speaker audio. Overall very satisfied purchase. I recommend for just getting work done. Also, if you prefer google chrome then you would have to come out of ‘windows 10 S mode’. I would stick with windows 11 because once you come out of that mode you cannot return and may interfere with apps. Sooo to avoid all that, the Microsoft search engine is suffice in my opinion and you could just search for google and use that search engine with your google account as well.

It’s perfect for what I need it for. I needed a new laptop for school ASAP and this budget laptop came in on time. Excellent price point! I love the star black color as it’s more of a dark navy blue under certain lighting, in my opinion. Anyway, I was searching high and low for a review with similar intent of use. I just need to write papers and submit weekly discussion boards and I believe this will do the job. And it’s a really cute and attractive budget laptop as well. Also, the mat screen seems a bit dated but I also like it because with glossy screens I hate the glares. Overall, I am satisfied.

I bought this laptop as part of the Black Friday in July because my Ideapad 14 was getting extremely sluggish. So I said what the heck, I could not do any worse with this.
I’m so happy I bought this! This laptop is very responsive with the commands being carried out and web browsing. And was easy to setup as well. No real issues.
One thing to keep in mind that it’s going to take you an average of 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on your connection. This laptop was supposedly installed with Windows 10 with a wrapper to automatically load a boot screen to install Windows 11 upon setup. No biggie.
The sound is kind of my gripe though, some apps have loud volume some had low ones. I’m not sure what causes this but I can forgive for $100 as I have my gaming headphones plugged in.
Other gripe I had that it does not have a slot for a Micro SD Card or SD Card for that matter. It could be a deal breaker for some. We are talking about a $100 laptop on sale after all.
Comes with one USB 2.0 Port, One USB 3.0 Port and one USB 3.0 Type C port which can come in handy so I suppose it erases the negatives for the missing SD Card Slot.
Computer came with 1 year of Microsoft Office, Almost comparable to the price of the laptop which is a fantastic bargain.
Charging block is really tiny but its to the point where you can travel with this if you need to, Laptop on the other hand is a finger print magnet.
Laptop has a keypad integrated into the touch pad. Hold your finger down for a second or two at the top right and then hold your finger on the trackpad and swipe left to open the calculator. Hold your finger to turn it off again.
FYI People say this is not for Gaming! Take a look at these pictures. I was playing Namco Museum Archives Volume 1 and 2. And also I played Konami Arcade Classics, Castlevania Classics and Contra Classics from Steam, they all played perfectly! The ones that did not play well were the Capcom ones.
Sonic Adventure 2 had a great framerate for me as well.
So yes, you can game to a reasonable extent.
Again you won’t be playing the likes of XBOX Series or PS5 on this laptop
Even though the laptop has some negatives its very forgivable for the price and is an excellent value for anyone.
FYI Best Buy delivered as promised and my order was actually delivered by someone at the Geek Squad in Union City, CA. If anyone knows their name please give them praise for me.

I own the 2019 16inch MacBook Pro and is still my main computer at the moment however just recently I went back to college for a second degree in computer science and all the classes have tutorials for Windows and not Mac. I went to BestBuy and I was happy to find this computer for $100. It was deal of the day. I downloaded Visual Studio for programming and it works great. 4GB RAM is low but as long as your work doesn’t require heavy graphics then this is a great computer. If you looking for more heavy graphics, I recommend you getting something with at least 8GB of RAM. Overall a great computer for $100. Still a great computer at original price but I would wait when it goes on sale since some $450 laptops sometimes goes down to $200 on deal of the day.

Great web surfing laptop for when on the go.
Upgrade the hard drive to a higher capacity m.2 ssd down the road but that’s about it so keep this in mind when buying. It also has a webcam but do not expect great quality resolutions. Was picked up during the Black Friday in July promotion and love it. No backlit keyboard but you get what you pay for. It has a unique numpad integrated with the trackpad by activation with an indicator on the pad itself.

This budget laptop is really good for $100. The hd screen(720p) is pretty good as if you compare it to certain laptops with a bad 1080p panel . The build quality is pretty decent with its plastic build and the Intel celeron 4020 cpu doesn’t get that hot during normal usage, but it does get warm. Sometimes you will find it pretty slow when opening apps, startup times is explainable, and please note that it does not use a fan and is just passive, but it does get the job done for an average person. The battery life is exceptionally well even if it is running Windows 11 as opposed to Chrome OS and it can last you 1-2 days. Overall I think it is great purchase for its original price(249.99) and especially if it is on sale for just $99.99 currently(taxes not included).

I am completely happy with the purchase of this laptop. It is perfect for my high school Sophomore. She is able to complete work and send it in using the schools web pg for students. It allows her to also easily socialize with her peers for school discussions. She particularly likes the number touchpad at the bottom of the keyboard.Display is clear and size of images is a good size. Battery lasts 2 school days
