80″x60″x20″ was the breaker in deciding to purchase the twin air mattress. Just moved into aparent and needed temporary twin beds. Inflates to 20″ which was great. Plus, 4″ wider than most twin air mattress. The instructions were easy to understand. Mattress has built-in dual pumps to “inflate & deflate.” Light weight. Only 12.8 lbs. Can be used inside and outside (for camping), per instructions. This review is for the Brown Air Mattress. CONS: EXTREMELY LOUD WHEN INFLATING! CON #2. WILL BE RETURNING THE BROWN AIR MATTRESS. DOES NOT STAY ONFLATED.

This mattress is broken after just 3 months of use. I strongly recommend going elsewhere as the warranty is not offered when is time to claiming it.

There was nothing to dislike. It was so easy to inflate, but the best was when I went to deflate it. It was so easy I didn’t have to do anything at all. When I went to fold it up to place it in the travel bag, I could fold it up without any air to have to step on to flatten it out. It was so flat I was in awe. With all other air mattresses, I remembered stepping on it to get all the air out to flatten it out so it would fit back into the travel bag. It was comfortable. It felt like my bed. I was trying to get a Euro air mattress cause my old one broke after I had it for over ten years, and I didn’t think I could find an air mattress to compare it to, but I found one in The Englander. I recommend this to everyone.

When I first set it up, I was really disappointed to see a big foot print on the top. I was also disappointed to see that the “plush” top wasn’t plush at all. I was expecting a different material from the rest of the mattress- maybe like a memory foam or something but it’s just rubber or plastic like the rest of the mattress.
No big deal. It was a breeze to inflate and deflate with the built in pump- just plug in wire to regular 120AC outlet and flip a switch.
The mattress was able to hold its shape all thru the night but did notice it lost some air later in the morning.
Overall, good mattress. I can’t recommend because I only used it once. Will update with longer and more use.

Having a small apartment means there is no spare bedroom for guests. I have friends from high school (grads of 1969) that come over for a few days every other month. This is the 4th (and final) inflatable bed I have bought. While they all lose air during the night – this one seems to maintain the overall firmness the best. It is a bit taller as well, making it easier for us 70 year olds to get in and out. It is easy and fast to inflate and deflate. Well worth the extra $54 over the other brands.

I’ve slept on other inflatable mattresses when I visited friends and family, most of which felt cheap. Now that I have guests visiting (usually my parents), I wanted something comfortable. This was definitely the right choice! I purchased the queen mattress and will be doing the review based on it.

    Pros:
    – This was super easy to inflate. You just plug it in, open up the inflate valve, and turn it on. It took a couple minutes to get it fully inflated. Deflating it was easy as well. I did not use the pump to deflate, but, according to the instructions, you can.
    – This feels like a quality product. The material feels thick and durable so it feels as though this will last for quite a while. The pump seems really strong and the cable stores into a plastic bin next to the pump.
    – It comes with a storage bag. I wasn’t expecting this, but I really like having it stored in a bag that can help protect it some. The bag itself is pretty thin, so I’d still recommend storing it somewhere it won’t end up getting punctured. The bag really helps keeping it folded up.
    – Comfort: The good thing about air mattresses is being able to adjust firmness. I laid down on it after inflating and it is comfy.

    Cons:
    – The biggest con is the noise. The pump has a very high pitched whine to it. That was part of the reason I opted to deflate the mattress manually.
    – The cord is pretty short. If you are throwing this in the middle of a living room with no plugs near by, you will need to either inflate it then move, or use an extention cord.

Some people may include cost for a negative, but in this case, I really believe paying more for better quality is a plus. I’m very happy with my purchase and would buy this again in a heartbeat.

I have used many different air beds over the years. I hated them all! I always woke up in pain or could not sleep at all. BUT this one has me stunned. I LOVE this bed. I got the queen and it was very comfortable whether sleeping alone or with someone else the bed is balanced and firm. No sinking areas. The bed was firm and unlike any other air bed I had used in the past. To me I was sleeping on a regular mattress. I love comfort and this mattress exactly this.
I recommend you read all the instructions… the mattress will lose some air when first using it but not enough to disturb one’s sleep. This is normal and to top the air up is less than 60 seconds. I used it for a week and topped it up 3 times. Deflation was also quick and easy. I think I got it deflated and back in the boxes came in, in under 10mins. A MUST BUY item.

***UPDATE Apr/22- – Englander, Amazon & Mayfair would NOT UPHOLD the warranty. There is No 5 year warranty. They had the nerve to say the cost of materials went up so we will NOT send you a replacement. They raised the cost $190. Now its $350. They would only refund original amount. Shady sh¡t!
I spent a ton of $ in a year with Amazon. They have raised the cost of everything, local drugstore is cheaper for most household items. Amazon raised “prime” to $100.00. For awful shows & late deliveries.. Ha ha –
Im gone, ill take my business elsewhere after this.
I got this Englander King air MATTRESS and I did not use it for a long time after purchase making it past the return point with Amazon, when I realised that it does not stay inflated over night. Just a hassle that if you don’t keep inflating it through the night, you wake up almost on the floor.. Not only is there loss of air problem.. The bed bands on the top of the mattress have snapped on the left and the right. So that makes the top of the bed like a camel’s humps and you are stuck sleeping dead in the centre so now it is the worst sleep ever you wake up in the worst pain. I have been in contact with “Mayfair-3rd party supplier” & though I bought the bed from Amazon for the past 6 Months trying to get them to uphold their 5YEAR WARRANTY. They keep telling me they have not made a king-size Englander bed. **Yet Amazon has stock now.**They have offered to refund me but they want to refund me too little $ because I bought it on sale. Now the air bed it’s $350(tax uncl)
If “Mayfair” refunds me, I have to pay another $180 more to replace the bed under their 5YEAR WARRANTY.
Definitely not may”FAIR” policy is it.

I purchased as my son was visiting – purchased based on stars and reviews. Unfortunately Not my son’s experience. I don’t have a lot of room which is reason I purchased the twin size – everything about the bed matched the reviews – until my son slept on it. by the 3rd night he was on the couch. He said it just wasn’t comfortable. He changed the inflation, but it still was not able to get a good night’s rest. This might be ok for a child or teen. I gave it 4 stars because it does appear to be quality made, it does inflate, deflate as stated, it stays inflated unless you adjust it. Just for my son, not a good sleep.

I initially loved this mattress. It’s the most comfortable one I’ve ever slept on. I have a bad back and air mattresses are the only thing I can sleep on and not wake up soar. I followed the instructions provided (fill with air but don’t use it for 24 hours) and it’s been great. Only had to top it up about once a month. Then about three weeks ago I had to start filling it every 3-4 days. Tonight it won’t stay inflated for more than an hour.

The Sealey brand was chosen for the ability to vary the firmness for individual sides of the mattress. The Englander brand, disappointingly, did not include that option. The shipping container had been opened and the mattress removed before I realized the brand difference, but I went ahead and set it up according to directions. The result was as good as anticipated (except for the individual adjustment feature). It was deflated the next day and packed into the carry bag. I’m not certain what can or should be done to correct the error. Please contact me.
