It works fine, but is pretty small and no matter the adjustments made, you can’t get it to drive straight without having to constantly steer it.

Great little car. Fast and maneuverable.
Two problems with the setup:
1. It’s attached to the box with thick plastic straps that are impossibel to get off with a knife or scissors. I had to get a toenail cutter. Next up was going to be a bolt cutter. Took a good fifteen minutes to get the straps off.
2. You need to have two small Phillips screwdrivers for the battery compartments of the remote control and the car. Not even the same size, so you need two different ones.
Nice car, though I wish the packaging and setup were more “frustration free.”

Bought this at my youngest son’s insistence. He charged this baby up, and took it outside to play in the gravel. Unfortunately, he decided he wanted to see how high an obstacle the car could handle…The answer, about 5 feet high at top speed. The suspension on the back of the car snapped off and the whole vehicle was rendered inoperable. It is now a garbage and parts car.

Durable enough that it’s still working for a 3 year old after 2 months. I wish the battery was easy enough for a small kid to change it out.

Out of the box the remote’s range was poor & it’s unresponsive to commands sometimes, close up. But, it still works 6 months later. Takes a beating pretty well too. Oh, the batteries it came with, one lasts about 20 min, the other about 10, tops. Kinda weird.

My nephew loved this for his birthday. It was one of the things on his birthday list.

I got this for my son’s birthday, and it looks great out of the box. However, the experience ended up being less than satisfactory. The truck performs very well. But… battery life isn’t great (15 minutes of continuous use). That might be acceptable at this price point, except that the charging process is pain. You can’t charge the battery in the car, it must be removed. This requires removing a small screw, and messing around with a tiny plastic wiring harness. Then the USB charger doesn’t tell you when the battery is fully charged, and I don’t think it shuts itself off, so the battery gets overcharged (you can feel it get hot if you forget about it and leave it on overnight). So the recharging process is not user friendly. Again, this may be acceptable for the price point, so I wasn’t planning on sending it back because of that (and the inclusion of a 2nd battery pack kind of makes up for some of it). However, on the second day of using it lightly (you can’t really use it hard because the batteries don’t last), it stopped moving forward. Reverse and steering worked fine, but not forward. So it became useless after 2 days. I returned it and will be looking for something else, unfortunately.

So it’s great that car comes with two batteries I find that the plug is a little cheap and really have to push the plugs in for a charge,or even to operate the car. The wheels wobble and the rubber comes of the rim. Front bumper broke when driven into a fence just one time. Bought this for my son whose 5 so he’s learning but even still one time it took for the front the bumper break.
