I went on one trip with this suitcase (5 days) and before the end of the trip it looked like I had traveled the world. The bag is very heavy, does not fit in overheads, and only has two wheels so it’s incredibly awkward to mobile about. I returned it. On the upside: it did keep my suits wrinkle free.

I had used a prior version of this suitcase (which I bought about 12 years ago), and I loved it. It was well made, and just the right size for a brief 3-5 day trip. When it broke, I replaced it with this garment bag, which I thought would be equivalent. However, it was made a little smaller (8 inches deep vs. the prior 10 inches) – and worse, the metal framework impinges into up the interior of the case. Also, there is a high indentation where the two halves fold close so that a suit cannot lie flat, but goes over this ridge. As a result, the useful interior space is seriously decreased. I am very disappointed, and I likely will look around for a replacement.

Need a garment bag, which handles one or two suits max for short trips. Major flaws with this bag: 1. Handle ridiculously short, would really strain shoulder if pulling any distance. 2. Way too long to be carry-on, would rarely fit in overhead. 3. Without spinners, hassle schlepping up the aisle and any other time. Guess I’ll have to spend $695 for that awesome Tumi Alpha 2…
