The fabric is stretchy, like a maxi-dress; this means the stripes may somewhat distort when pulled over a tight area. It wouldn’t be terrible to buy a size up if you are well endowed. Otherwise, love the pockets, the tie, and the higher neck! Tricky height for wearing necklaces, but such a refreshing style after the gaping, revealing necklines of other clothes.

Thaaaank Yoooou, Amazon! This buttery soft dress fits me perfectly. I ordered a size Medium – I’m 5’5” and 150lbs – as pictured it falls below my knee, hitting just the top of my calf. The material is light-weight and just the right amount of stretch. It is slightly transparent, so I will be wearing a slip

1. Waist sits too low to be empire, but too high to be natural waist, so it ends up being the least flattering possible.
2. I love the pockets, but they do sit at the place where it makes my hips look even wider than their natural whiteness. 🙂 The pockets are a wonderful idea, however, and are roomy enough to rest your hands in or put something into.
3. I’m not a very large chested woman, but the stripes end up looking super-frumpy across the chest. Not exactly sure why, but it does.
4. The material is super soft and incredibly comfortable; so i’m giving it two stars for the wonderful material!
Overall:
I’m very sorry that the waistline and overall lines of this dress hit me wrong in all the wrong places. Wish it worked, just for this buttery-soft material. Returning.

The fabric is so soft and super comfy. Love how it looks on me because I’m not a big dress person and my body is kind of pear shaped. Will be buying in different colors in the near future.

The fabric is very buttery soft which is a big plus. Unfortunately, even though the material seems quite thick, there is a very visible panty line. Also, there was a hole in one of the pockets which makes me wonder about the sturdiness of the stitching. Not practical to wear more layers underneath where I live (equator) so I’m returning it.

I really like this dress. Very comfy and cute. I’ve had compliments already this morning first day wearing it. It has a little stretchniess. It is not clingy at all. It fit as expected. I’m 5’2 and 175 lbs. And ordered the large. I’m all booty and hips if that helps you decide your size.
My only complaint would be that the pockets dont lay properly. You have to fidget with them a bit to get them to not pucker. (See 2nd pic.)

It’s always hard to find dresses when you’re 5’1. This dress goes to the knees in the pictures but it went to the middle of shins (ha!) so unfortunately I have to return. Other than that, it fit great and the material was nice. I’m usually a size 2/4 in dresses and a small fit wonderfully (except the length).
