So, for starters, not what I wanted or needed or thought I was ordering. Product description/photos represent a 7.5 inch light bulb with a standard light bulb being 5.5inches I thought this would work. I was wrong. However, this thing is so big and bright I wanted to keep it but I just can’t. I will say if you want a foot long light bulb that’s 4.5 inches across then this is the lightbulb for you.

bought this item in 10/2020. went out in 01/2021. for something that’s priced in the $30+ AND LED you would think it last for longer than 3 months. and I can’t return it because I missed the window of return.

Supposed to be 10,000 Lumens. I have one that is similar that is 5,000 lumens and just as bright and the same number LED bulbs.

The 5,000 one did cost more.

    Great for the price

I had two 100watt equivalent LED bulbs in my garage, and it was always too dark for whatever project I was working on. I replaced one of those bulbs with this one and it’s awesome! I finally can see what I’m working on without extra drop lights.

The consensus from my kids was unanimous “Holy **** Dad! What did you do?!? That’s bright!”

    I think I need a few more!

Make sure you get the right base on the bulb for the lamp/light fixture you intend to use. It comes in 2 different sizes.

This bulb is BRIGHT🌞. I’ve never used a “corn cob led” or whatever they call it before so I don’t really have anything else to compare it to as far as straight apples to apples. But I have used many HID (high intensity discharge) lights hps and metal halide.

They say 10K lumens and it seems Legit. I’m using one in a lamp in a room with no ceiling light and it’s almost too bright. make sure you have a lamp shade or something. the bulb is also really big and won’t fit inside most standard enclosures. The other I intend on installing on the outside of my parents house. the light they are using now is a 23W CFL. and it doesn’t light up the area well at all. This bulb will make it like day light.

If you’re worried about this thing not being enough, you might want to shift direction because it’s almost too much! It’s like looking into the sun… It works perfect in garages with high ceilings. It would take multiple fluorescent fixtures to get this much light coverage. Well worth the price!

This thing is bright! Very Bright! Which is exactly what i needed for my garage. I am buying another one for the other light in my garage now.
If you are looking for Energy saving, this is not the 50W equivalent, it is 50W worth of LEDs, so it uses quite a bit of energy compared to a “Standard 60W LED”. It’s also quite big, but for my use, it doesn’t matter.
But if you just need super bright…this is the way to go.

I paid C$40 for these Led lights, they produce just over 70% of the sun’s brightness. They are big, look at my photo. I would’ve really liked them to be 5000k instead of 6500k but at C$40 I really can’t complain.

I purchased the AmazonBasics 50W LED Corn Bulb, 5000 Lumens, 6500K as a work light and it did not disappoint. Glad I didn’t get the 100w version as it would have been too blinding for my application. I mainly use it as a filler light and as a work light. This LED corn light is not small so make sure you have the appropriate fixture for it to fit in. At the moment there is no flickering but I can’t really comment much on the longevity of it as it’s not used on a daily basis.
