Very disappointed with this toaster. While the slot for the bread was wide enough, the length of the slot will not even accommodate a standard slice of Oroweat® bread.

well I was going to give it 5 because the width was great for bagels, BUT my just this morning I tried toast and the slots wasn’t long enough for bread. . . . like what? I had to turn the bread on its side to put in and then of course it didn’t toast it evenly. This was store bought bread, how can the slots not be long enough for bread? that is a whoopsy on their end.

You have to use BIIIG FAAAT PIECES of bread or bagels – with thin slices they are falling down, stock there & you won’t be able to get them back- the “design” made very tricky & burned piece of bread is sitting down & there are “special” screws (not for regular screwdriver) & you can’t open bottom lid .

The Black Bella Toaster has a 6 setting shade dial for consistent browning every time and wide slots, it can accommodate sliced bread, bagels, Texas style toast and thick baguettes knob that you can use to determine which works best for you. It has a high lift lever for easy access to smaller breads, auto centering guides for even toasting with anti jam and auto shut off features for added safety. If you are making regular toast, just put the bread in one or both of the extra-wide slots, turn the knob to the appropriate number, then push the lever down –This starts the toaster. The toaster has a easy removable clean up tray. The toaster itself is compact, easy to clean, and has all the features you need for perfect toast every time.

This toaster was a steal for me. It was on sale for $10 and I had a $5 certificate to use towards it’s purchase. I actually needed it after dropping my previous one for the last time (I know, how does somebody drop a toaster so many times).
Anyhoo, it’s a great toaster. Does two slices, or two bagels, has a rotary heat setting dial and “bagel” button.
