Turtle Beach – Battle Buds In-Ear Gaming Headset for Mobile Gaming, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 & PS5 – White/Teal

I got this on Saturday did curbside pick up worked real easy. I was kinda doubting these but for $30 i said what the heck. Well been using it for a week works well. Sound is great I use them for war zone COD. Also I saw reviews about people complaining that the mic is to heavy. I put it in my ear with the mic attach did not fall out at all. My girlfriend said that I must have a universal ear lol. But yea have had no problems plus if the mic does fall off your ear when attach you can use the built in mic where the control is for the volume and mute. 2 mics in one that’s great to me.

I am on PS4 gaming daily max hours, Never really care for those over the head ear pieces ( I don’t even where hats) I wanted something to attach to my controller with a volume control, mute option, flex boom mic and not having it wrapped over my head giving me the option to just use the left side earpiece with mic and having the other one just rest on my shoulder or collar. I have to be able to hear what is going on around me while I’m playing. No more missed calls, door bells, friends or relatives talking to me while playing and not knowing what they said.

I’ve used plenty of headset in the past, from 400$ to 30$. These I keep coming back too for on -the-go and late night sessions when I want to lay down and relax. Not having to worry about a big over-ear headset to make me uncomfortable when I lay my head on my pillow is pretty huge. Even though they are small and ergonomic, they produce a rich sound and as an added bonus they provide decent mic quality as well.
After plenty of multi-hour gaming sessions, I haven’t felt much ear fatigue; even when laying down. Sometimes I do feel like the inside of my ear gets too hot, but that is remedied with a quick pop out. That has been the only real uncomfortable moments I’ve had using the Battle Buds.
Turtle Beach really nailed the dynamic sound field, even with these relatively small drivers. For reference, I have ben using these with my PS4. Whether low or high volume; music, dialog, and all the sfx are clear with a wide sound stage. A nice feature is that the Battle Buds have in-line control for volume as well as mute which is something you can’t take for granted.
The microphone is fairly decent, delivery clear voice without much background noise. My voice doesn’t sound tinny through the relatively tiny microphone. Decent enough to casually stream.
Overall, the Battle Buds is a great headset and even better deal.

Figured they would be a decent product by the name brand. They’ve been great as far as sound. The earbuds don’t stay snug in my ear and sometime there is a slight echo, but all in all for the price, well worth it.
