The Belkin Boost promises to charge at 15W, compared to the current Belkin I have, Boost Charge 10W. Appearance wise, they look very similar, the new 15W charger is slightly thicker and has a sturdier look to it. The charger comes with a USB-C cable and charging block.
On the inside of my cell phone case, I have a metal disc used to mount my phone magnetically to my car mount. With the 10W charger, I always had a difficult time finding the right spot to get it to charge. I found the new 15W charger to be much more “forgiving” in that sense. Every time I put the phone down, the white light would appear and it would charge properly! I was very surprised! While I don’t have an iphone 12 to take advantage of the 15W charging, it does seem to charge quicker than my 10W charger. I then tried charging my AirPod Pro’s wirelessly, I have a Native Union leather case over the Airpods, it seemed to have a difficult time charging, I moved it around until the light came one, a but off center near the USB-C cable seems to be the sweet spot for the Airpods. Without a case, it wasn’t an issue at all.
If you’re looking for a Qi charger, I’d recommend you taking a look at the Belkin. I found the new 15W charger to be much better than the 10W version. The only con is the USB block it came with, it sticks out of the wall about 2”, I wanted to place this charger on my dresser, but I can’t since the plug is behind the wall.

Prior to this Belkin Boost, the only Qi charger that I had was a cheap little 5W from Walmart. Since upgrading to the iPhone 11 Pro Max with its 3969mAh battery this summer, I’d have to be home the majority of the day, or leave my phone on it all night to get any significant charge. The Belkin Boost does not have that problem. With it’s 15W output, it has no issues maxing out the iPhone’s 7.5W charging speed and topping off my battery quickly. This charging pad sits next to my computer, where I spend the majority of my time when I get home from work. Within the few hours that I sit and game at night, my phone has always been back up to 100% before I head to bed.
One thing that I really appreciate about this charger compared to other cheaper brands is that everything you need to use it comes in the box. Many Qi chargers do not come with the charging brick, leaving you to try and figure out/ find one that is going to work best with that charger’s output capabilities. Belkin solves this dilemma by giving you the appropriate brick, a USB-A to USB-C cable, and the charging pad itself. Other positives on this guy are the rubber pads that keep your phone from slipping around while it’s charging and the white LED light that turns on while your device is charging. All in all a quality product. You definitely get what you pay for!

I had the previous Belkin Wireless Charger (I don’t recall the model, but it was white) and it worked great for wireless phone charging. However, that charger was made prior to the Airpods Gen 2 and the Airpods Pro and their wireless charging features. I tried my Airpods on it and it never worked or charged correctly. So, I now have it in the living room as a spare charger for guests and such to use.
I seen that Belkin had released this new and improved charger and of course, I much preferred the black color over my old white one, so I figured I’d give it a try. To be honest, it’s more or less the same.
Included in the packaging is the round charger itself, a wall adapter and a USB-A to USB-C cable. The A end of the cable plugs into the wall adapter and the C end plugs into the back of charger itself. Charging works as it should for my iPhone 11 Pro Max and my wife’s iPhone XS Max. While charging and in use, there is a white LED light on the front that comes on and then goes off when the device is removed.
Next up, I was excited to try my Airpod Pros on the new charging pad, since I didn’t have much luck on the old one. I sat them down and this new one actually shows it as charging (the old one didn’t) with the white LED light on the front lighting up. However, it didn’t do much. I left it on charge for about an hour and the battery of the case went up by maybe…3%? I laughed and just put the case on my lightning charge cable and went about my day… I tried it with and without the case, with no difference.
So, in conclusion, I’m giving this one a 4 out of 5 stars. It has a solid build quality and charging is great for phones. Just don’t expect much in the way of accessory charging for AirPods and such. Additionally, given the bare-bones functionality of this item and with the new MagSafe charging feature that is out now for the new iPhone 12’s…since this is backwards compatible, I honestly may wind up using that more than this Belkin charging pad once I get my new iPhone 12 Pro Max. We will see…the put-down and pick-up simplicity of this is nice, without having to worry about pulling off a magnet from the back of my phone. MagSafe may just go in the bedroom and this Belkin may go in my work room for mid-day top-offs.

Another win from Belkin! Easy to set up, perfect size especially on a night stand. As soon as I put my Pixel 5 on the charger, it recognizes right away as fast charging!
    Highly recommend!

I have been interested in a wireless charger to reduce as much wires/cables as possible so I finally decided to get 1 & I purchased this Belkan for my iPhone 12 max pro it works great even with a good case on my phone I’m not sure if it charges as fast as a wired charger but charges good enough

This wireless charger is great! I had been waiting to try one of these, and I’m glad I finally got the chance. I usually charge my phone at night, so I replaced my usual charger with this charging pad, and it’s so much more convienient. Instead of fumbling for the old cord and plugging it in, I can just place the phone on the pad and I’m done. It also makes grabbing the phone in the middle of the night to check something much easier, since there’s no cord to worry about. There’s a small LED light that let’s you know the phone is positioned correctly, and there are 3 rubber grippers that securely hold the phone on the pad. This thing awesome.

Very happy with this Belkin Wireless Qi charging pad. The pad itself connects to a powerblock via a USB type-C to USB type-A cable. The USB type-C end connects to the pad and the USB type-A end connects to the power block. I’ve been using this for a couple weeks now placed on my night stand and has worked without a hiccup. It fully charges my Galaxy note 9 in less than an hour. The front LED shows red if your phone isnt charging, green if it’s charging, and amber if it detects some type of foreign object.
One thing to note is that it wont work with really thick cases. I tried it on my ultra heavy duty otter-like Samsung case and it would not charge. I won’t dock a star for this as Belkin transparently mentions this on their site that it’s been “engineered to work with lightweight plastic cases up to 3mm.” It worked with all of my other cases. I also appreciate that you can use different orientations when placing your phone on the pad to charge (i.e. horizontal or vertical). It also has rubber grips to prevent on your phone from sliding. This is a very straight forward product that just works. Been using Belkin for over 15 years and they’ve never let me down.

I could not find a wireless charger that would work on the IPhone 12 Pro with an Otterbox Defender Pro case. This one actually works! And it does so quickly! A Plus rating! Woot woot!
Best Buy N Canton is very efficient, too…love their curbside pickup! It’s FAST!
