I bought this because I needed something that would not interfere with our son’s bunk bed. Assembly was super easy! So much easier than Hunter or Hampton Bay fans!!! Quality is very good. As expected with a 28″ fan, it doesn’t push a ton of air (unless you are directly under it, and then it feels great!), but it is sufficient and the fan is whisper quiet. My only other comment is that the single light bulb it comes with is not as bright as I had hoped, so I did order a brighter Sansi brand LED bulb on Amazon and now it is bright enough for my taste. I ended up buying a second one for my daughters’ room.

Very easy to install, clear and easy to follow instructions, did myself in aprox 30ish minutes. I painted to match our daughter’s room. Perfect for smaller spaces.
It does have a slight burn off odor with fan on high, but is starting to fade.

Love these little fans I have 2 smaller bedrooms and the 28″ width is perfect I bought one to try in one room and immediately bought another one for other room and will be buying a third one soon. Has everything you need down to the wire nuts and has extra hardware. Mounting bracket is excellent for one person installation. Also don’t be fooled by its size the blades have a steep pitch with fan on hi it moves alot of air.

VERY-VERY NICE EASY TO INSTALL WITH JUST BASIC KNOWLEDGE EVEN WITHOUT READING THE DIRECTIONS. I JUST SKIP READ A FEW LINES OF THE DIRECTIONS AND IT SHOWS IT TAKES 120 MINUTES TO INSTALL, TOOK ME ABOUT 45 MINUTES GOING SLOW… 🙂 WHEN DONE, I TESTED ALL AND IT DOES HAVE A VERY LOW HUM WHEN ON HIGH ONLY. BUT I AM ONLY GOING TO RUN OURS ON MOSTLY LOW. I MOUNTED OURS IN OUR AZ ROOM WHERE MY WIFE DOES HER CRAFTS. I LIKE THE PULL CHAINS TO TURN UNIT OFF AND OR INCLUDING THE LIGHT, IT IS REVERSIBLE IF DESIRED, I JUST REMOVED THE OLD CEILING LIGHT AND SCREWED IN THE MOUNTING BRACKET OF THE FAN PROVIDED WITH THE SAME 2 SCREWS THAT HELD UP THE ORIGINAL CEILING LIGHT, THEN I USED STOVE PIPE WIRE TO HANG FAN MOTOR FROM FRAME JUST MOUNTED SO I COULD CONNECT THE WIRES AS NEEDED WITHOUT PUTTING ANY STRAIN ON THE WIRES, THEN REMOVED THE STOVE PIPE WIRE AND SCREWED IN THE 3 SCREWS HOLDING MOTOR IN-PLACE, THEN THE FAN BLADES AND FLIPPED THE CURRENT WALL SWITCH ON AND THAT’S BASICALLY IT – IF IT TAKES YOU OVER AN HOUR YOU NEVER APPLIED YOURSELF MUCH !!!!!!

O didn’t install it, so I don’t know how easy or hard it is.
If there was a remote control, it was thrown away with the box, so I can’t give my opinion on this either.
The noise is very low and doesn’t bother at all, but I don’t know it putting 5 stars on this means it’s good or bad.
Anyway, the product was PERFECT for my kitchen, it’s elegant in white, and I added it a smart bulb, so I control the light with my voice.

Fan went up easily. Replacing a larger fan due to bunk beds in a smaller room. Fan is super quiet and as mentioned before it won’t cool a 20 x 20 ft space but it works great for a small 10 x 10 ft room. The length of the beaded chain for fan/light switches provided is long enough even for my 4 ft child to reach with a 7 ft ceiling. Easily trimmable with cutting pliers for those who do not require that length. Instructions provided were clear enough for a novice first time installer to tackle this install. Would buy again if needed. *Added bonus – you will laugh out loud when you open the box and see the mini blade size 😂

The finish is not glossy but matte. It still resists fingerprints during the install, and looks much more elegant. I liked it so much I’ve ordered another.
I have rentals and have installed many of the 30-inch westinghouse petite fans in bedrooms. The small design correlates better with smaller rooms, and the white blends into the ceiling so it doesn’t feel like a large piece of furniture overhead. This 28-inch fan has a similar design but the quality is SO much better. It runs totally quiet even on the highest setting. No wobble. There are sound/vibration absorbers on all the blades, housing, and brackets. Instead of a pack of screws, the unit comes with the screws already in the holes so none are missing and there’s no question where everything goes. The short, fat paddles throw a lot of air. Even the chain pulls are nicely weighted and elegant.
I only just noticed ‘glossy’ in the title. I certainly hope the second one that should arrive today is also matte. Will update.
UPDATE: Second fan arrived, also not glossy. Great fan.

Love it. I wasn’t sure since I read some reviews about the bright of the light. It works nicely for me. I am very happy with my purchase.
