Love it. For a carb conscious meatball, I don’t want the extra breadcrumbs in my meatballs so the shaper was the perfect thing to make balls. Easy for meal prep. Froze them in the meatball maker, took them out and packaged them in ziplock for easy meals. Please make one for small meatballs for Italian wedding soup.

I love the durability of this mold but I had to have my husband drill a very small hole in the top of each shape to allow air to escape to properly form the meatballs. It works amazing now though.

#1a – modification option – drill a small air hole in each meatball section to allow escaping air
#1b – OR – place the mold on the floor and gently press it with your feet

#2 – DO NOT OVERFILL uses 1 3/4 lbs meat without filler

#3 – freezing makes them WAY easier to remove-takes a few hours to freeze

With all that said/done, it does save time as we make 2+ lbs of meatballs per day.

    we use 2 molds
3.5 lbs meat with egg or oil & a few spices.
The size/shape lend to excellent texture and bite

may be slightly overpriced unless you use it often

Received this sooner than was quoted, (a plus). Tried them out right away, made meatballs and did not overfill per comments. Then put them in the freezer. Several hours later took them out to separate them.. If you want to separate them, and put in a ziplock and not use all at once, do not leave in the freezer for over an hour. They were rock solid. Left them out for a bit, still frozen, but able to then separate them and put them in a ziplock.

In the future will only freeze for about 1 hr, and then separate them. Also remember they are not huge meatballs, but ok in size.

This was a very easy product to use, and clean up is easy.

    I would recommend this product.

JE TROUVE L’ARTICLE À LA HAUTEUR DE MES ATTENTES. VIDEO BIEN EXPLIQUÉ. IL FAUT JUSTE ROULER LES BOULETTES UNE SECONDE OU DEUX POUR LES ARRONDIR ET LE TOUR EST JOUÉ. POUR MA PART J’AIME DES PETITES BOULETTES ET CELLES-CI SONT ASSEZ GROSSES MAIS JE VAIS M’ADAPTER CAR POUR FAIRE 32 BOULETTES…ÇA PREND 3-4 MINS ÇA EN VAUT LA PEINE.

This works well for vegan zucchini balls. These are made with beans, oatmeal, garlic and of course zucchini plus Italian spices. I like that I can quickly make 32 zucchini balls, bake as many as I need and leave the remaining zucchini balls in the shape and store MM and freeze them for another day.

This is a unique product. At first I rethought using it but decided to. Well I was glad I did. Once the meatballs were frozen I removed and bagged them for the freezer. That way I can use it again and redo the process with lots of extra frozen meatballs at my disposal. It is a lovely item and well worth the money. Thank you.

Perhaps I expected too much. I think my original plan was a lot easier because I use to fill my ice cube trays with the meat without having to grease the container prior to. Then when they were frozen, I popped them out & sealed them in a labeled zip lock bag.
I struggled to release the meat, once frozen, with the Meatball Master! They stuck together & a knife was required. Sorry guys!

Merci !

I also have the silicon burger patty maker and love it so when I saw this I knew I had to have it! It’s so easy. Just make your meatball mixture, push the meat into the side without the walls, close it and freeze it for a few hours. Then take the meatballs out and cook them. So easy! No mess trying to make perfectly sized meatballs. This does it for you in a fraction of the time!

I use it for food prep. After I cook the meatballs, I freeze them and then I have them for quick mid-week meals. Get it! You won’t regret it!!

If you’re like me and HATE making meatballs, well then this is NOT what you are looking for to ease your pain. This THING is so UN-handy as a meatball helper. I sprayed both top & bottom with Pam. I filled to the line indicated. I planned to freeze these easy peasy meatballs, so I started at the center to let the air out, so as not to get freezer burned. This nifty little gadget started oozing meatball mixture out of the sides. Okay, I must have inadvertently overfilled, idiot! So I took some out…several times and still could not get this $#%$@*% thing to close. So, needless to say, I made my meatballs the old fashioned way. Let’s not forget the easy clean up!! Unless you own a dishwasher, you need to wash each. independent. hole. with a hot soapy sponge. TOP, BOTTOM and SIDES multiple times to get the Pam & meatball grease clean. I bought this months ago, but never used it until yesterday. So, too late to return it. I don’t even want to give it away to someone because they will think that I HATE them!! I often times ignore reviews like this (obviously) and I’ve paid the price. Do not make the same mistake!!!
