Lamp shade comes upside and if you put it right side up the bulb sticks half way out the top. This is a poorly made, and crooked, lamp which is NOT what i paid for. It’s false advertising at best and lots of other reviewa agree.

I ordered this item for my girlfriend’s Son’s bedroom and when it arrived I was extremely disappointed. First off the lamp shade was upside down. I tried it the other way but the light bulb stuck out almost 2 inches higher than the lamp shade. Extremely dangerous because of course little kids get curious and would definitely try touching it. Also the pull chain to turn it on didn’t work. And lastly I started my refund and was told by the company that UPS would pick it up but after trying 3 times to give it to them they said they had nothing saying they were supposed to pick it up. Awful awful product and service

Rec’d the lamp and the shade printed/assembled upside down. If you invert the entire shade it so that the eyes are orientated correctly, the lightbulb sticks way above the top of the lamp. We ordered a replacement and the same exact problem exists with the replacement. See pictures — you will receive a lamp and spidermans eyes will need to be upside down in order to hide the lightbulb.

For those people complaining that the design is faulty because the light bulb sticks up too much, that’s because it need as small bulb. Standard bulbs are an A19 style. This needs an A15. My complain is that nowhere in the product description does it explain what kind of bulb to use. Maybe Amazon or the seller should provide a link to the correct lightbulbs to make it easier on the consumer. Otherwise I have no complaints. Once the correct bulb is used it’s great, but again, nowhere does it tell you what bulb to use. It’s just suggest 40watt.

Totally disappointed. This is a cut lamp but totally dis functional/ unsafe unless you set the shade on top of the bulb (fire hazard and unsteady) the bulb will stick out of the shade about an inch and a half (burn/ death hazard!). I know every company seems to cut corners but is it practical at the risk of a child?! Amazon should have some sort of filter for the crap they sell. More and more I’m finding 3rd party in authorised sh*#! This was prime shipped and not super cheap so WTF! I might not be an expert but I used the wattage it called for and I typically can put a shade on and screw in a light bulb. Did the save much making the shade 2 inches too short?????? I’d give it negative stars if I could. This will be returned and I hope no one purchases the used avengers war lamp!

Muy bonita lámpara, los colores son tal como en la foto. A mi hijo de 3 años le encantó. Funciona perfecto, bien empacada. Lo único qué hay que considerar es que un foco de tamaño normal va a sobresalir de la pantalla (cómo se ve en la foto. En mi caso, tuve que comprar focos más pequeños para que no sobresalieran pues si lo dejas así la luz te da en la cara.

Quite possibly the worst purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon. If you put the lamp shade on the correct way, the picture is backwards. If you put the shade on so that the picture is right side up, the lightbulb sticks out the top. This is a major safety hazard for small children! I will be trashing this lamp and will never purchase from this company again. Just a warning for those of you who want to purchase…the product is defective!

I’m shocked by everything with this lamp. The base is not black, but a flat ugly brownish color. I thought I had made a mistake in ordering but the description states “table lamp, black”. The lamp was shipped in its original box. The quality of the box was not meant for shipping. The lamp shade was crushed when the box was damaged and now no longer the shape of a circle. I think what is most shocking is that the box wasn’t sealed. Wrong base, damaged/unsealed box and an out of shape shade. The only thing positive I can say is that it turns on when plugged in.

I had to return this lamp twice for the Spider-Man due to the shade/ picture was printed upside down. So his eyes looked mad/evil. My son is 3 and loves Spider-Man but it looked scary to him. When I did flip the shade it showed the bulb so it defeated the purpose of the shade and the bulb was too bright. I’ve only experienced issues with the Spider-Man lamp so hopefully that is the only one with issues. I really wanted to keep it but it looked to scary.
