For some reason, if you by this type of cable at local stores they will cost several times more than you’ll pay at Amazon. Instead of using a network connector, I hook up my two computers with one of these cables each. Since I use mostly one computer for the internet, I just switch from one cable to the other on my DSL modem when I switch computers. If you are heavy-handed, it might be better to get an extra one, in case you break the delicate lock-in clip that keeps them securely in your devices.
Quantum Entanglements –
As usual Cables To Go produces a low-cost, sturdy cable. I use this in my profession as a tech everyday, so it sees a lot of use. So as much daily stress I put on this thing, including having to get the ends into tight places where the cable is being twisted at almost a 90 degree angle, I highly recommend it. Nice to also have a x-over cable that just isn’t boring yellow or gray.

I bought this cable by mistake. It is an Ethernet cable that is of better quality than the cables supplied by AT&T. If you are looking for an Ethernet cable, this is of decent quality. Amazon Customer Service gave me a refund and told me to keep this Ethernet cable
If you are looking for a cable for the AT&T U-Verse Arris NVG589 modem, this is not the correct cable. Please look for a cable that resembles the one that you use for your phone jack input, the Registered Jack-11 (RJ-11). The RJ-11 was the cable I needed for the Arris NVG589 modem for my AT&T U-Verse service. The AT&T Customer Service was clueless and of no help in my search for a replacement cable.

Again, Cables to go has provided an excellent product with a fantastic price. I had purchased a second computer and have both computers in a smaller roo. Unfortunately, the first computer was not wireless network ready, so I had to get a wired router. Not wanting to spend a ton more for cables at a big box store I turned to Amazon to find Cables to go with a great price once again. I had purchased HDMI cables from them previously and they haven’t failed my expectations. They work great. I definitely will purchase more cables if needed from Cables to Go.

I bought this cable because I needed to connect a PC to a network bridge two floors up, since a wireless signal at that distance was too weak. The cable installed perfectly. It has a good amount of pliability to it, too, which can be helpful when installing in tight spaces, such as connecting the backside of a wall plate. I would definitely buy this brand of cable again.

You get what you pay for, these are great cables and exactly what you would expect at this price point. I have bought a few different types of cable from G2G and have thus far been completely satisfied every time. The ethernet cable was well and duly shipped and had properly seated and crimped heads. Just don’t expect any “premium” CAT% Cable features like extra thick insulation or reinforced tabs, tbh the typical patch scenario really doesn’t require all that pageantry when these bad boys will definitely do the trick. If you’re reading this, just but it.
