I had very high hopes for this. Unfortunately it left my skin VERY oily. If you have oily skin I would skip it. I love the smell and my face didn’t break out from it (which is why I gave it 3 stars and not 1 or 2) but it is crazy how much oil is on my face right now…… I am not sure if I will use it up or just toss it.

I’ve used the Reginerist Microsculpting cream for a good 6 months and loved it, but was running it and needed to buy more. Since I loved the Reginerist so much, I thought I’d try the new Whips line and try the “Total Effects” option with UV protection. I was entirely disappointed. Not only did it make my skin dull, but it ended up drying out the skin on my face beside my nose but also made my skin break out in tiny bumps. I don’t know if it’s a reaction to the UV ingredients it something else, but I’ve stopped using this product, have switched back to the original Reginerist (which I still love) and have contacted the company today about switching the product out for the one that does not cause issues with my skin. Everyone’s skin is different, so hopefully this product works great for you, but unfortunately didn’t work well at all for me!

I never really gave it a lot of time to decide if the anti-aging ingredients made any difference to my skin but I don’t like it because even though it is advertised as a “whip” it is very thick going on and pills/balls up. It’s not noticeable until after foundation is applied. Because it balls up, every step in a morning face routine must be done all over again.

I bought this because I saw great reviews and needed a really good moisturizer for my fair skin (in a redhead). I have given it a good go about a month and a week and its the biggest waste of $25. Id really like to see about getting my money back thats how bad it is. It burns my face, which i can deal with I’ve had sensitive skin my entire life, but my skin was just as dry with it on then before I applied it. Im actually using Garnier Moisture bomb and I bought it at a local outlet store on sale for 1.99 and its expired and works 150x better. This is so sad because I really had high hopes and this is the first time Ive ever spent more then $12 on face cream. Please if you have sensitive skin or live in the northeast like me here in PA its not worth the money i can assure you your face will still be dry after bearing that cold air. Super disappointing.

I have tried this Olay Total Effects whip and the Regenerist one now. I really wanted to like these. The product applies so well and just sinks into the skin. It is probably one of the most immediate applications I’ve seen with a moisturizer. It also leaves you matte, not shiny. You could pretty much immediately apply on top of the moisturizer. The SPF protection is great too. I really couldn’t smell a strong fragrance off this either. Definitely nothing you would continually smell throughout the day.
However, both Whip versions really itched my skin. I haven’t seen my skin break out from it, but the itching sucks. It also was bothering my eyes. If I touched my finger to my eyes throughout the day, I noticed them starting to get irritated. I only noticed this once I began using this product. It’s a shame because I really wanted to like this. I would still recommend people to try it out, but it may not work for everyone. Also the price is expensive for the amount of product you receive. I would consider this a luxury buy just because of the price personally.
One last caveat about the product: check your expiration date. This is probably being sold so much cheaper because the batches are older. Mine was good until 6/2020, so only about 5 months from when I bought it. The Regenerist one I had bought in store around the same time expired in 6/2021. You may just want to keep that in mind prior to purchasing, and make sure you will use the product up within a few months if you buy it.

Did not all like this product. It smelled awfully of sunscreen. It made my face red , Ive Never had that problem with any of the various moisturizers throughout the years. I’m 32 ans have been moisturizing since I was 20, so 11 years. It is much too thick feelings. It’s supposed to be light and whipped and it’s NOT at all. I don’t like it. It even hurts my face and is like a nasty thick film. It was thirty something dollars which is high priced for like a drug store cosmetic. Wish I would have saved my money. Went directly in the trash. Will stick with my saint Ives collagen moisturizer. It’s much nicer smelling, light weight, it comes in a huge jar and way cheaper. Just sounded too good to be true. What a waste of money. This stuff is garbage.

I like that this product does what it claims. It moisturizes without the greasy shiny appearance. It feels creamy on the skin so that you can feel it start to soften skin on contact. I’ve been an Olay moisturizer product user since my thirties and I have had no faulty issues with this product; I am now 69 years young and still use it. My mother had pretty skin and used the original moisturizer only. So I decided to try it also; and now I have been using every since. It helps to keep my skin tone even and soft, and that’s great since I live in Texas where the sun can be very damaging to your skin. Therefore, this moisturizer gets a five star rating from me.

Although advertised as fragrance-free, it is definitely scented.
