product leaks on initial use – worthless! Also cannot get information on contacting Pool Mate for warranty and Amazon won’t do a thing about it or provide any information on the manufacturer and READ EVERYTHING about warranties when buying from Amazon. They don’t help if you are outside their “window of return.” AWFUL experience. Done with Pool Mate and done with Amazon!

I like the fact that it’s durable, strong and that it had the part to put the tubes in to hold it down in place, I bought a size bigger than my pool since I had a bad experience with another one ,my pool is a standard 15×32 pool so I bought a 16x36and it’s a bit too big but it still looks good. I really bought it to help keep the frogs away and from them laying trillions (lol)of eggs in the pool and the first day I cover the pool it rained so hard ,the next morning I got up to see if the frogs was able to find their way in and nooooo they did not,so yes Im content with the product so far.

This pool cover is anything but heavy-duty. We purchased one last year and it barely held up through the winter season (in Virginia). We planned on purchasing one of the nicer covers but ran out of time this year so had to repurchase. Hopefully it will make us through the season. You get what you pay for! We will not be purchasing again.

Wow. This is the second year with this cover (which came with a 10 year warranty) and I have a pool cover with pool water on the top. Now I have a free exchange of water in both directions.
Had a pool leak fixed at the end of the season last year, used old cover during construction and didn’t take this new cover out of packaging until end of November. Warranty is 10 years, but because of my construction delay, I didn’t open this until it was too late to register the warranty. If I remember, you get 30 days to register your warranty.
So disappointed with this purchase. 🙁

My pool is a 16 x 32 oval pool and this covered it perfectly when I closed it up. It’s large enough to cover the pool and still sit on the water properly.

Piece of garbage! This product didn’t last 2 months before holes started appearing. We followed the guidelines and recommendations for use. We live in southern New York and winter is not even here yet. Water leaks through to the pool.

Pool cover is adequate and will keep the debris out of the pool over the winter. Was my 3d cover and none of them last more than 3 years!

This is the most money we have spent on a winter cover in 23 years and it is the thinnest too, doubt it will even last the full winter without damage. Normally we pay about $59.99 – $80l..00 for a winter cover that is thicker. The only reason we bought this is we discovered the one we had in storage (since April purchase) was wrong and we were in a hurry to get the pool closed as winter chemicals were put in. I like the blue color but the 10 year warranty is bull this tarp in a one year use only and even have doubts about that. And the price is way way way too high.

About the only thing good I can say about this product is that it was packaged well. Other than that, I am extremely disappointed. This company should consider its advertising, because “Heavy Duty” is false. This cover is thin and the loops to hold the water tubes are flimsy. I found a tear in the seam right out of the box. I’ve had this thing down for less than two weeks and I came home this evening to find it half in the pool, because the loops tore off with a little bit of wind. As much as I would love to roll this thing up and return it, we are nearing winter and I can’t deal with another one right now. I’ll just make do until we open up in the spring and put in a real heavy duty safety cover. I won’t ever purchase anything from this company again however.

This cover is definitely not heavy duty. It didn’t even last thru one winter! It shredded around the pool edges. I would never buy again.

This cover worked for our pool for this past winter we bought our house right at the end of the season so we were left with the joy of closing our new pool and not having a cover so I went with this one as a short term solution I had to modify it to keep it from blowing away my advice to anyone is if you can’t afford or don’t want to pay for a safety cover buy a very good tarp the will hold up much better than this also for anchors I would use the kind that screw into the ground we had alot of trouble until we anchored to those type of anchor with bungies over all a great last minute solution for one winter maybe two if you anchor down very well and I am aware that my method is not how this was intended to be used but it worked
