Its cast iron makeup retains heat to keep foods warm for serving. This enameled round dutch oven is compatible with gas, electric, ceramic and induction cook tops. A black phenolic knob is available for gripping. This Dutch oven also features self-basting condensation ridges on its lid. It is oven-safe up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit or 204 degrees Celsius. The off-white porcelain enamel interior finish is durable, scratch-resistant and will blend in with your kitchen decor, as it is available in a variety of exterior colors.

This is the best deal I could find on one this size. Truly does compare to the high-dollar ones, works just as well. I saw where some reviewers don’t like the plastic knob, but it says it’s good for u to 300 degrees, so I don’t have a problem with it. The beautiful red color even makes the food look prettier.

My fancy French one disappeared during my move and I orded this last week. I received the triple boxed beautiful green monster yesterday and immediately went into chicken and dumpling mode.
I love it and it’s weight, the way it browns, stews, and looks beautiful doing it. I was lucky and got mine on sale for $39.00. Woo hoo!

It’s of course very heavy, but l love cooking with it; especially soups and stews. It’s very well made and even after 3 years of very frequent use, it’s still looks like new! – Highly recommend it!!

I live this for my sour dough bread. It heats evenly and cooks it to a golden brown. I haven’t tried it for soups or stews yet but I will very soon.

I purchased this oven to make homemade bread for the first time. This is the first Dutch oven I’ve ever owned so I don’t have any other brands to compare it to. All I can say is my bread was perfect; golden and crispy on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside so this oven worked to give me a perfect result. I am so happy I didn’t buy a fancier more expensive Dutch oven. I love this one!

I bought this as a dedicated bread making dutch oven. I did this because I read that putting the room temperature bread straight into a 450 degree dutch oven could cause it to crack. I’ve used this for 6 months now. I bake bread at least once a week. In addition to that, I’ve used it as a deep fryer too! It has held up beautifully and I feel like it doesn’t perform very differently from my Le Crueset. Plus, I feel better about using and abusing it. It can handle anything you throw at it.

Oh fer gosh sakes, I can’t believe how awesome this is! It’s beautiful, huge, and heavy/sturdy! My primary concern was that I can safely use it on my ceramic top stove. And indeed I can! I love you, Walmart!

Love my new cast iron dutch oven,i wish could’ve order some more while they’re on black friday sale,as good as it is i’m willing to pay for the full price but this item is out of stock(sad face)i am looking forward to get another color for it is now in my kitchen collection lists:)

I haven’t used it yet but it is heavy, sturdy no problem with shipping or having chips and dents. I can’t wait to actually to put it to use this Thanksgiving. The gray color is beautiful. I love it!
