My children really like this game. Shipping was super fast and we got it the next morning.
However, I am not happy with the fact that I paid $159.99+ taxes and really only ended up with the same thing as the Osmo – Little Genius Starter Kit for iPad and could have paid less money. This package only includes 2 more apps than the Little Genius Starter Kit. Complete rip off considering that the other set was on sale for $89.96 (Reg. $119.99). You can buy the Little Genius Starter Kit for LESS money and get the 2 apps FREE. So basically I paid $70.03+taxes for 2 apps that I could have gotten for free. I would like a refund for the difference. Not happy at all.

I’ve worked in schools and seen Osmo products is use for years, and I absolutely love them. I was very excited when I saw they made one for younger kids, so I immediately bought this when I found it.
Pros:
Easy to set up and use, both for kids and adults
Fun and engaging characters that kids like
Sturdy pieces and storage containers
Good variety of activities, both in terms of fun and from an educational standpoint
Cons:
Very young kids probably can’t do these activities independently. I got this for my daughter when she was two and a half. She already knew all of her letters and numbers, but really couldn’t make the shapes out of the sticks, even with the detailed instructions from the character. She’s just turned three. Even though she’s improved, I still need to sit and help her.
The story game is more manageable for her right now, but there are so many pieces with so many little details that she gets lost looking for the right thing. It’s a great activity and I love what it’s trying to teach her, but she’s just not quite there yet.
Bottom line:
Little ones need help, but I definitely think it’s worth it in the long run.

Great product for use of technology in play and learn for preschoolers. My little oneoves the use of stories and the guided puzzles and putting bits and pieces to re produce the model or play along. Perfect find for home-schooling and adding bit of fun in learning.

My son is turning six next week and starting kindergarten this year. I’ve been worried all summer about his education since the beginning of Covid. I wanted to find something educational to keep him learning, focused, and engaged. I set it up for him and he immediately started playing. He loved using the manipulatives and creating shapes on his work mat. He was engaged and loved all the different lessons. They were so easy and needed minimal adult support (just to set up). The lessons started easy and slowly scaffolded the content. He is already learning so much about numbers, shapes, and letters. I’m so impressed. My parents will be doing distance learning and will use this as part of his instruction. He loves using it so it will be easy to implement. Highly recommend.

I am so excited I was introduced to this great program for kids learning. It’s a fun way to teach your children letters, numbers, patterns, counting, reading, etc. With the times changing so quickly with technology its nice to find a good wholesome program at a decent price that I can ensure will help my children with their education while making it fun and interactive for them. I highly recommend!

We’ve only had this for a few days, but so far – we are very happy! With our daughter’s preschool cancelled due to COVID, we were looking for a gift that would not keep her entertained & actively learning so when school starts back up, we’re ready for kinder! At first I was hesitant to purchase the Early Math Kit because of its higher price ($119.99 vs $79.99) but I’m SO HAPPY we did because she’s having A BLAST WITH COUNTING. It was super easy to set up. It’s also great seeing her build her numbers/letters with the colored sticks because her fine motor skills are still limited and she struggles with making her letters on paper. The story time game is also great and really helps stretch her mind and think creatively. I’ll update as she plays more, but so far it’s our favorite activity!
10/5/20 update: she’s still loving it – 5 stars highly recommend this because math is included. We’re so happy I’m also buying for my sister’s kids.

After I purchased for over $100 Target had it for less than $60
Very disappointed .
Happy my grandkids like it but the immediate price difference at target was ridiculous. I hate being ripped off by amazon pricing sometimes.

I bought the Osmo little genius starter kit for my four year old to have some educational learning opportunities that were still fun. It helps him work on a lot of age appropriate skills. He is learning how to write so the masterpiece game is a great fun way to help him build his fine motor skills. The costume party game allows him to be creative while also figuring out his spatial reasoning. My only concern is that you are supposed to take the cover off the ipad. I have a two year old that likes to play along with whatever the four year old does. I need to maintain parental supervision to make sure the kids don’t knock over the ipad during a spat, but probably not an issue for folks with older kids.

My 3 year old is pretty into Ed Tech, and loves Osmo. Some of the tasks are a bit difficult (i.e. building the letters), but they basically just find a way to play with it that is fun, and some of the tasks are a perfect difficulty level.
Main complaint is you can’t buy a lot of the extra things as “separates” – almost everything comes in a kit somehow. Would love to just add the creativity set and pad, for example, but from what I can tell it’s only sold as part of a set. Same with the math numbers. Wish I could just add-on the pieces I want and need!

Good variety of games, quality materials.
Easy to register and track progress.
Simply the best electronic educational tool/app available if you have an iPad or kindle tablet.
Daughter loves and enjoys her time while playing it.

An awesome gift for my 3 year old nephew. In this day of covid it is nice to have an engaging tactile fun screen time option. Highly recommend
