The shoe itself was nice but the fit was terrible. Length was good but it was so tight around my for it was un-wearable. I don’t consider my feet wide but these shoes are for narrow feet for sure. If they were wider they would have been fantastic. Good shoe but not for my feet.

These shoes are cheap in price and cheap in quality. They only lasted 1 month before the insole disintegrated and the shoes themselves only lasted 3 months before they had some serious hole and I had to throw them out. Don’t waste you money.

Great shoe for the money. Looks exactly like they do in the pictures. I normally wear a size 12, however these 12’s were a little tight in the toes. Given the material, I assume that this will stretch out a bit with time so I’m not overly concerned. But if you’re debating between two sizes I would err on the larger size.

The most important detail is the connection between the upper and the rubber edge at the spot where the shoe creases during the back-step. This part gives way and cracks and delaminates on most flat-sole sneakers. These ones last longer than most – including their popular competitor that they are clearly (copying) emulating. I want to buy from the other guys, but all of their sneakers I have over the years split long before they are otherwise done.

I wouldn’t buy these again for a few reasons.

First, because they were obviously returns. There was a very pale (but large) stain on top of one of the shoes as if someone had spilled water on it and then dusty dirt had landed on the water and left a stain.

Normally I’d return them just for that reason, but since I just wanted a quick slip on shoe for going in and out of the garden where they would get dirty anyway, I could live with it.

The downside of these shoes for anyone considering them is I measured my actual foot with their clickable chart and chose the corresponding size. Usually I wear an 11 1/2 or 12 wide in shoes. These didn’t offer a wide. They fit okay lengthwise using that chart but could be a little wider (most shoes I don’t NEED wide, just prefer wide). The length was okay but could have benefitted from an extra 1/4″.

These have zero arch support (like Sperry Topsiders) and look like they will wear out faster than soles on Sperry Topsiders. I can also feel individual pieces of gravel under my feet when I walk in them.

For my purposes these are okay, but I wouldn’t buy them again.

Birkenstocks worked great for my in and out to the garden needs for years but are pretty expensive to replace so I thought I’d try these. I’ll try Vans next. These aren’t going to hold up very well I don’t think, and the stained shoe right out of the box turned me off (even if that’s an Amazon return issue more than the manufacturer).

    UPDATE:

I threw these away in less than a week. The more I wore them the more my feet were getting crushed because they’re too narrow, and I didn’t feel right about returning shoes I’d obviously worn and that had dirt in the treads and so on.

I also think they would have been even tighter once they were washed.

Won’t buy anything from this company again.

These fit wonderfully when I got them. I bought them as a casual work shoe, and they were great the first two weeks. After two weeks I started to feel how thin the sole was and noticed the shoe was already coming apart. I stopped wearing them daily but they broke down so quickly. Not even Two months old and the tread is almost completely gone. Don’t buy these unless you only plan to wear them for a day or two a week. I’m really disappointed with these shoes.

My college-age son is a repeat customer of these style of shoes, and now particularly this brand. He wears them several months, and when they finally look beaten and dirty after miles and miles of walking I order him a new pair. The cost is reasonable for the quality, and he’s always content to replace them with a new like-pair in gray or black. Personally, my feet need much more support than these provide, but that would mean more expense. But for him, I will continue to buy these sneakers when the old ones need replacing. They are a little stiff and “clompy” when he first gets them, but they break-in quickly to a quieter step.

By the way, they look good with jeans or casual pants, and he wears them all the time with shorts.

Shoes were delivered on August 30th and didn’t actively start wearing them as my daily shoes until the second week September. It is October 21st today, approximately 8 weeks after purchase (only 6 weeks after beginning to wear them) and one of the shoes has started to fall apart on the bottom.

To be clear, I am not hard on my shoes, I do not wear them all day. I work from home, and only wear them to walk the dogs, and run errands. They should not have degraded to this level this quickly. There is no way to contact the sellers since I am past the return window. Feeling really disappointed with the purchase and now have these shoes which have fallen apart worse then the pair I replaced these with (which were nearly 2 years old).

This is a comfortable, stylish sneaker type shoe that pairs nicely with jeans or slacks and a sport jacket for business casual or just for weekend activities.

My first pair, I wore out the sole. I bought another pair to replace and then a week later bought a third to keep in the closet for when the second pair wears out. They are THAT awesome. And you can take it from me. I can’t pass a shoe sore without getting drawn in by its gravitational vortex. They’re true to size and here’s a bonus tip…..MACHINE WASHABLE! Yep, just slide them into a mesh laundry bag and drop them in with your regular laundry. Dryer safe or you can hang’em outside if you’re not in a hurry to get back into your favorite shoes.

These look good and fit great, but they’re a bit pricey. I usually just wear these around the house and don’t expect much support and performance from them so the shoes are great for that. I used to buy similar shoes at Payless ShoeSource and they were about the same quality but quite a bit cheaper in price.

We wanted to like this shoe. It looked great and we knew it would last our son long enough for him to grow out of it. NEVERTHELESS, this shoe runs VERY small. We ordered a full 1.0 size larger that what he currently wears comfortably and his foot barely could fit in it. We ended up ordering a Union Bay Slip-on Shoe in the same size 8.5. The attached photos give you an idea in the difference in sizing between Lugz (black with gum soles) and Union Bay (blue with white soles). Both shoes are size 8.5 mens. We would have ordered up a size of 1.5 even in the Lugz, but those shoe sizes were priced too high for our target.

I bought these for my husband. He’s usually a 10.5 all around, and that’s what I bought the first time, but they were a little snug. We returned those and got the 11 and they fit great. He walked around all week on our vacation and were comfortable and don’t look worse for the wear.

When I first bought these shoes, I was impressed with how light and walkable these slip-ons were. Normally I cycle through 3 different pairs of shoes (running, dress shoes, casual/these shoes) a week to avoid wearing out a pair, but this semester I was low on my budget, so I forewent my dress shoes and I ended up using these shoes way more than I should have. Still after 6 months of high usage the bottom soles and the exterior still has a slick clean look (I was even complimented on its style a few times!!), but the interior soles are not as padded. Still a great pair of shoes for the price that I bought them, and I would highly recommend.
