Finally, curtains that do what they say they’ll do! I’ve bought blackout curtains in the past, only for them to still allow sunlight in and defeating its purpose. Not these curtains though. They are true blackout curtains. I got one hung up and could notice the difference between the old and the new. I posted a picture for reference. Will be interesting to see how well it keeps the cold and heat out in the months to come. Also I really like the material.

I bought these curtains because the color was neutral allowing me to change out my bedspread to any color. Also, the are great for blocking sunlight. They work great and it feels cooler in the room. When I close the door to the bedroom. the room is really dark. I bought curtains for a second bedroom. Love these curtains and would definitely recommend if you want to darken a room for a theater room or for working night shifts and you sleep during the day. I also bought curtain rods for room darkening. The rods curve at the ends. You can see a little light at the top, but not much.

This curtain is slightly heavy and drapes nicely hanging from the rod. It goes well with my existing valance that I have in my living room. It also has a sheen on it that makes it look classy. Glad I bought them!

I thought it was a two pack so I was pretty disappointed when I opened it to just one curtain but thats my own fault, should have read the details better! Other than that these are AMAZING and I will probably buy a second one at one point, its a wide enough curtain I can actually just make the one work for now. The single curtain can almost cover my whole sliding glass door. Best black out curtain Ive ever owned for sure.

While I like the curtains as you can see they are uneven! I tried a standard rod at first thinking the rod was uneven, then I used a tension rod and still the same problem…. uneven.

I love that they really do keep out the sun. I have one set in my bdrm and one set in my living room. That is where the sun shines in the morning and part of the afternoon. But I wish they made a little wider panel for my picture window. The ones I had gotten are 52inches wide 63inches long. If they had the same in 65 inches wide or a little wider.

Now that I have them hung I don’t care for the color I chose but that’s on me.

I bought these curtains in black to block light in the bedroom. They work great and are a good price! I used a wrap-around pole (so light would leak out at the sides) and absolutely NO light shows through the curtain. I can’t say how a different color would work, though. They are thick with a satin finish- just a hint of sheen. They look much more expensive than they are. Do note that they are a little thicker so if you want something in a longer length to “pool” at the bottom, these are not as drapey as other curtains but not too bad. Initially I put them up on rings, but too much light came out from the top. I gathered them onto the pole and that cut the light coming out of the top significantly. Also, because of the weird height of my windows, I had to buy them long and hem them. Not a problem for me, but if you have to hem them too, be aware that they FRAY LIKE CRAZY when cut! I suggest you zigzag stitch next to where you want to cut first. Oh, and they are easy to iron-just don’t set it too hot.
