These are sturdy, well-formed measuring containers with a fine finish—no rough edges. Each piece is stamped with both imperial and metric sizing, although the letter is rather small. My reluctance to give a full five stars is based on my concern with the durability of the color-coded plastic inserts on the handles. These are held to the metal portion of the handle only by tension. I would have preferred a well-bonded insert on the handle that could not easily be removed.

This is a company with customer service above and beyond anything expected. In fact I love this cute measuring set, and I like having colored handles since I get used to the colors over time and eventually don’ thave to read a spoon to know it’s size. And I wanted metal since some things like yeast are static-y with my plastic spoons. U-Taste just emailed me the normal email from many sellers about had I recieved the spoons and was I happy with them, so I emailed back saying yes I like them, and did they happen to know about accuracy since a couple of them were different than some other spoons in my drawer. Not that they weren’t accurate, in fact the others might be off. They emailed back with interest in the accuracy issue, and said they had sent me another set of spoons that they sell! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0758FH37D . Wow!!!!. Both sets are great. As to accuracy, who knows. I read online that measuring spoons all vary, apparently even ones sold to labs can be up to 10% off. A woman on the bakers hotline at KAF told me, since I was writing a cookbook, not to tell people that cup and spoons measures all vary, as it would worry people!
I’m just going to enjoy using both of these sets, and sometime pick up a scale that measures to the 1/100th gram (for modernist ingredients, where tiny amounts matter. Thanks U-Taste for amazing customer service!

I picked this up for my wife for Christmas due to all the positive reviews.
A couple of things we noticed:
– The smallest spoon is mislabeled as “1/2 tsp.” Should be “1/4 tsp.” Underneath it says “1.2.5mL,” but even that should be “1.25mL.” (Please see photo.)
– There is also a bit of separation between the metal body of each cup/spoon and its colorful, silicone handle. Food and liquids can easily get in there, making the cleaning harder than it needs to be.
To solve these issues, we ended up 1) tossing the mislabeled spoon and 2) removing and tossing the silicone handles to end up with an easier-to-clean set.
We would not recommend buying this product.

The measuring spoons have started to corrode after just one wash! Absolutely disappointed in this product! They look good, feel good and are easy to use, but what’s the point if they have rust on them!

Sending this back- really cheaply made. Metal stinks of cheap metal. I have high quality premium stainless steel here and none of them have this horrible meta stink. Extremely thin overall and sharp edges around the rim of the measuring cups. Came FILTHY with black marks all over them. Didn’t even them, it sending them right back.

My wife and I both love these. They were obviously a step up for us since we had really inexpensive plastic measuring cups before. However, I was really let down by the colorful silicone grips on each of the handles. While they are nice to look at and have a great feel. I really don’t like the fact that they aren’t glued or somehow sealed to the handle itself. They can easily come off and water/liquids can creep in. For the price I expected a bit more sturdiness from them and not just a simple cut out and drop in place grip. Considering returning to try another one that doesn’t have this problem.

I have about 8 sets of measuring cups/spoons. The thing that attracted me to these was the different colors on the handles. I can look for the “pink” measuring cup, knowing that it’s 1/3 c. I was thinking these may be a somewhat cheap set, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were heavy duty. I have already put them through the dishwasher…they have a little hole in the measuring cup handles that allows you to put it on one of the “tines” of the top dishwasher rack. It holds great. The hole isn’t too big or too small. It stays right in place.

After making several loafs of bread, i could not figure out why my bread did not rise properly. Only thing that made sense was not enough yeast, I was putting the called for 2 Teaspoons of yeast per batch but consistantly got little rise. Checked on my amounts of yeast by using a different spoon and found that this one was short on volume. I borrowed a high accuracy set from my neighbor and checked the set. Found the Tsp measure to only be 2/3rd of a teaspoon, the Tbls was just shy of 3/4. Made batch of bread with different measuring spoon and rose perfectly. Throwing these out. Cheep plastic set i picked up at wally world was pretty much right on for accuracy. Live and learn.

I got this 12-piece set to replace some that were inaccurate.
The good part is that the unit conversion from US cups to millilitres is exactly right, contrary to another review. For example, half a US cup is indeed 118 ml. The best item is the half teaspoon, which is exactly right. I measured everything using salt and comparing with a class A graduated cylinder set.
All of the cups have at least some error (<10%). The 1 cup is about 9% too large, so I threw it out. The 2/3 cup and 3/4 cup are almost exactly the same volume (the 2/3 cup is more wrong than the 3/4 cup, so I threw it out, but both are wrong in different directions).
While the half teaspoon is right on, all the other spoons have significant error ranging from 17% to 33%. So I threw them out too.
At the end of it, I have 6 usable pieces out of the 12-piece set.

The cups are marked with US quantity sizes, which is why I bought them. I use a lot of American recipes and wanted to remove the hassle of constantly converting to metric, but unfortunately they’re closer to UK sizes – but crucially, without being correct. For example, the 1 cup (marked as US size 237ml) measured 268ml when full – not even a UK standard 250ml. It seems these cups are for estimating rather than measuring.
The cups and measuring spoons do feel sturdy and the colours are a useful idea, but if you want accuracy then I couldn’t recommend these.

I like them it’s worth the money and very helpful for measuring the ingredients very well but I give them four stars because when I receive them I found that they have a little rusty so I don’t know if they will be for long time or not I just received them 2 days ago but they are okey and work well and I love the different colors in their hands

I ordered these and immediately returned!! They were horrible quality! The handles were a mess! The soft grips were not cut right and didn’t fit the cups themselves! Had sharp edges and flimsy handles!! Absolutely not worth buying! Definitely cheap and lousy product!!
