I bought these clippers in December 2019. After less than a year of proper use and proper maintenance these clippers broke. As I was cutting my brothers hair, the blade spring snapped, causing the blade to shift. I am unable able to use them now. I spent a lot of money on these clippers for them to break on me for no reason. Please contact me so we can come up with a resolution for this issue. I need a replacement or a refund as soon as possible!!! I have also tried calling and emailing customer service and I have not gotten a single response in a week. This is pathetic. Ordered Wahl’s Magic Clip Limited Edition all metal edition, but that product came with hair stuck in its blade. Somebody might have returned it. Based on the reviews from professional barbers, I ordered this BaByliss PRO. It features all metal housing, brushless motor and 2 years warranty. Only downside is that the blade gets hot due to high speed motor and I think it’s with any professional clippers.

While Ive been cutting hair for 13+ years, Ive never owned a professional pair of clippers until recently. The closest I had was some Andis Envy Li, I can honestly say that these blow those out of the water without a doubt! A haircut that took me 45 min to complete with those takes me 30 with these! Saves me a lot of time! I know I listed price as a Con which they are pricey but worth every penny, I wish they were a little less expensive, if you’re not in a hurry you can get a better price on Ebay I had found them for $189.99 on there while on Amazon they cost me $219.99. I needed them asap which is why I bought them here with 1 day shipping free.

I had a magic clip before this and this one is just on another level…I use it to give myself fades and it is much much easier to do…I understand to those that say it pulls the hair, you do need to adjust the technique you use for sure (just the angel you hold the machine is the quick fix)

Very good clipper ! it looks very luxurious and it feels very premium. It’s also a all metal clipper and give’s a well blended and precise haircuts. i deffinitley recommend this clipper

Very disappointed. I have to tighten the lever screw a couple of times during every hair cut. I think it must have come with a stripped screw. Makes me very sad , I usually love this brand. Not so much now.

Rattles during operation. I also bought the outliner from US as it was not available in Canada. It will not change at all. Keeps blinking. Bad product. Too expensive for no reason. I spent $500 for both and disappointed 😔.

Very long lasting battery, runs very strong, Mary quiet. Best part about these clippers are they don’t heat up. I feel like they are overpriced, mainly because as is it’s very hard to zero gap if at all.

I’m no barber but during this global pandemic, barbers are considered non-essential and ordered closed at least where I live. It’s been over a month and I couldn’t take it anymore. The reviews were pretty good but what drew me to The Babyliss brand was the construction, design and the accessories. It came with 8 guards which was important to me as a self cut beginner. Indeed all the help I can get. It also came with a small screwdriver for adjustments, oil, a blade cover and a small brush.
I charged it for 3 hrs and gave it a drop of oil like the instructions said and went to work. At first, I was kind of worried because these weren’t really sounding like clippers in the shop. I realized however that these are just smooth and quiet. They glide through my hair, no pulling or snagging. Guards were on snug and tight. I also realized during cutting that it only took a few passes to get my hair down to the length I wanted. Also, when tapering hair was removed pretty evenly without having to go against the grain. I used the Andis T Outlined for edge up. I immediately noticed that the To Outliners were way hotter after some extended use compared to the Babyliss trimmers.
Overall, I’m pleased with this purchase and with my self cut haircut. These also evened out my beard nicely. These bad boys just might save me some time and money.
