This product does work and I was very happy with the results till I read that the main ingredient is TALC. If you didn’t know, talc may contain the known carcinogen asbestos, therefore it should be avoided in powders and other personal care products, unless it is known to be asbestos-free. Even asbestos-free talc should be avoided. Hoping that creators of the product will make a safer formula soon.

Perfect shade! It fills in my “baby bang” area on the sides of my temples where a very small area of my hair is fine. Love that it blends so nicely.

I don’t necessarily have a receding hairline, but I do have two spots on the sides of my head where the hair is thinner. I never knew what to do with it until I found this hair shadow. It makes such a difference and the shade blends well with my natural hair color. I’m so happy that I found this!

I just put a little on my hair part, as I’ve noticed my hair getting thinner (premenopausal? stress? age? No clue but sadly it’s happening). I used a short eyeshadow brush to apply it. No idea if this is better than their applicator but it seemed like I had more visibility and control. I like the look of my hair better when using it, so it’s a good product.

But it comes off Relatively easy if touched or with sweat or water/ rain. Also does not apply well over lotion , oil or any dampness.

I love this stuff..I have thin, super dark, very graying hair especially on the sides of my head and my part and the shadow completely fills in and covers the sparseness and the gray. I love how easily it blends it really makes my hairline so full and youthful looking. Totally worth the 15 dollars and will definitely repurchase.

I’ve used hair powder like this in the past before dying my hair a muted copper. It wasn’t until after changing my color that I realized how few red head hair powders are out there to hide my gray roots between dyes. I tried the Clairol root spray, which worked ok, but was too brown and made a mess. It’s also not portable.
This is portable, has a teeny mirror, and blends into my hairline and roots effortlessly. It looked too brown in the container, but applies a natural reddish copper brown. It’s warm toned, so if you have a cooler toned red, it might not work. It’s still worth a try for the convenience though.
Highly recommend, this is now a permanent part of my beauty routine!

Loved this product! I have these random thinned spots from having 3 boys. I dab it on with an eyeshadow brush and it goes on easy. I don’t feel self-conscious when I wear my hair up now.
