My 10 YO has had bouts of intertrigo (skin irritation in the skin folds) for years. We have tried rounds of cortisone, steroids, antibiotics, and antifungals. Thus, you have to use lotions that are safe for sensitive skin. This lotion is an average sensitive skin lotion. Not as thick as some other lotions, but it has kept intertrigo at bay. There is no strong scent, but my 10YO said there is a mild tingling in sensitive spots, which goes away after a while. I have hand eczema, and this works well on my hands. The best products for intertrigo prevention IMO are barrier products, Vasoline, and calmoseptine. I will continue to use this lotion for intertrigo prevention and will update this review if needed.
Hope you found this helpful!

This PHYSIOGEL facial cream very lightweight and absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave behind a residue. It is fragrance free. The ingredients contain squalane, which is anti-inflammatory and hydrating. It also contains a couple different kinds of oil (including palm oil), so it’s probably best for dry skin. It is white in color, and it didn’t feel sticky or tacky when applied. My skin felt more hydrated after applying it, and I didn’t experience any skin irritation or breakouts. It’s made in Thailand, but Physiogel is a well-respected skincare brand in South Korea, and that’s why I wanted to try it.

My 8 year old son has really sensitive skin that’s constantly breaking out in rashes and bumps. So I’m always on the lookout for fragrance free and hyper allergenic moisturizers that will help his skin and not make it worse. So when I came across this Physiogel ticked all of the boxes at first glance, so I figured it would be a winner.
And as far as how well it works, it is a winner. It hydrates my sons body and face, without being greasy or gross feeling. And it didn’t irritate his skin more than help.
However, there is absolutely no reason that this product should be the price that it is. After getting a better look at the ingredients list, this is basically a drug store hypoallergenic and fragrance free moisturizer, but 3x the piece and 1/3 of the size,. So while yess it works, and it works well. But I see no reason to buy this over the drug store brands with the same types of ingredients. I have no problem paying more money for a quality product, with quality ingredients, that works. But this is not made with quality ingredients.

PHYSIOGEL Hypoallergenic Calming Relief AI Face Cream is a rich facial cream for red, sensitive skin, using a triple relief formula that moisturizes and soothes to combat anti-dryness and anti-itchiness, does so immediately and with long-lasting relief. All this is true and it was pretty amazing. BUT, I discovered the wonders of the cream NOT ON MY FACE, BUT ON MY BODY.
PROS: ABSOLUTELY ZERO SCENT (I love this so much)
RICH, BUT LIGHT, TEXTURE
NON-GREASY MOISTURE THAT LASTS
SMOOTHES SKIN TEXTURE BETTER THAN OTHER LOTIONS
ZERO IRRITATION
CONS (for me): VEGETABLE OILS and PALM OIL considered the worst oils.
1) OLUS OIL (fatty acids from vegetable oil for emollience, moisture and hydration barrier. Feels good to the touch, but not a quality oil choice for me). The oil can be from several sources including sunflower oil, a known allergen for me and isn’t specified in the ingredient list).
2) PALM OIL has a number of great skin benefits, but only if this is Red Palm Oil. Is it? Worse, palm tree harvesting is VERY BAD FOR THE PLANET regarding major issues of deforestation, habitat degradation, climate change, animal cruelty, etc.
Those two oils are problematic for me. Beyond that, I love it on my body, but not on my face. It felt heavy, tacky and sticky, like my skin couldn’t breathe. Also not conducive to layering any other skincare or cosmetics. It actually felt like body cream on my face. Not the same weightless, light sensation as on my body. The tube and box don’t even indicate that it’s for the face. That info is only on the buy page, so my intention for it all along was as a body cream. I’ll stick to body use, and won’t re-order because the ingredients don’t warrant the price and I object to them for ECO reasons.
4 STARS for body use
2 STARS for face use

I’m always eager to try any product that touts its for redness or itchiness- I have incredibly dry, sensitive and itchy skin with eczema/dermatitis. But I’m giving this calming relief face cream 3 stars only because it specifically advertises as being for red, sensitive and itchy skin, and it under-performs in all of these areas compared to other products that target these problems at less than half the cost.
The cream is just a little less thick than body butter, and it goes on thick but absorbs fairly quickly. It is moisturizing but I find it doesn’t last quite as long as some other products. It provides a little bit of itchy relief but nothing compared to other anti itch creams I’ve used. It does seem to barely reduce some redness, but again, just not as good as other redness relief creams. If this cream was less than half the price I would say, eh it works ok but it’s not my favorite. But at over $40 it’s hard for me to justify that cost when there are many other products on the market that just perform better for cheaper.

This cream has the same ingredients as Mimyx, Prumyx and Solace. I have excema and am allergic and sensitive to almost anything that is in drug store lotions. This cream does not burn or irritate my skin and slowly repairs my skin barrier with continued use. I’m so glad I found this cream because Solace is no longer being manufactured. This lotion helps me avoid steroid creams.
