After talking to several barbers about shaving my head, they recommended this foil razor. I used to use DE Razors or Cartridges in the past, then switched to Philips OneBlade, but eventually wanted something that works quickly and gives me a BBS feel of manual razors. I was there for a surprise because this gets it done… Amazing razor for my head and I can shave it in 4-5 minutes, as long as I shave every 1-3 days.
I also tried to use this foil razor for my beard and it shaves really well except in the neck area. I understand that this maybe because I am used to shave with a manual razor, but it has difficulty picking up in small hairs in the neck area. I’ve been told that maybe I need to wait 2-4 weeks for the face to adjust to the razor but that’s a bit too long of a wait.
Overall very pleased with this for my head shave.

I bought this shaver because I saw some really great reviews about it, and it turns out to be great as people have mentioned. I have been dealing with acne for a long time and with this shaver whenever I shave my moustache it never irritates my skin or pops the pimple. It is also really good for fading hair, I like the weight of it and the hair just blends in perfectly.

Powerful shaver for balding out. It could be a lil rough on certain parts of the face like the cheek area at first but only if you apply pressure like you would a Braun shaver. The key here is to make sure both foils are touching the skin and to let the weight of the shaver do the work. After it was broken in a bit the pressure mattered less. The charger for this also works on my Braun series 5 as well. Well priced compared to Braun and other Babyliss products. Price has come down since last year 2019. I would recommend.

I was in between this and the cheaper Andis foil shaver. My barber has both and honestly I went with the BaBylissPRO because of how it feels in my hand. Feels sturdy. Feels great. I cut my hair/clean beard on Sundays with my barber. I use this shaver for in-between haircut appointment. I use with the Remington shave powder and it cleans me up quite nice. If you are thinking about buying this shaver don’t think about it twice. Buy with confidence.

The first time I used this shaver, I gave myself razor burn (because I was in a rush and didn’t know how to really use it). My barber uses this same shaver on me at his shop, with no problems. He taught me how to better do it (clean and exfoliate skin first, trim any hair with trimmer as low as you can- this prevents hairs from being pulled, and keep skin taut while shaving and take your time). The second time I used it, I had no issues. This shaver feels like high quality, it has a nice heavy weight to it. I am very impressed with the quality and how sharp/close it cuts.

This thing does feel premium. Metal housing good weight awesome look but…compared to Andis Profoil it was not worth the extra $70 dollars I paid. I cut my own hair and did one half with the Andis and the other with Babybliss and yes the Babybliss has more power but they both cut very good same baldness look and feel to me. It took a lil longer to cut with Andis but I was in no hurry. Overall I returned because it was not for me. I kept the Andis and bought some extra blades and still had a lil more than $50 left. I would probably recommend for professional barbers but average DIY person at home Andis is just as good.
